I know it wasn't mentioned here. But in previous interviews I've seen this talk of Zimbabwe cricket going through a transitional period is a bit lost on me. Yes it's true they're blooding youngsters currently. But this Zimbabwe cricket team has being in a transitional period for 20 years. Faraz Akram not an international player. Wessly Madhevere short on confidence needs to go back to domestic cricket and regain his confidence. But then if your domestic structure isn't that strong how can you make the transition to international cricket and be successful. It's a shame guys like Nick Welch and Ben Curran are over overlooked when they've been in the English domestic structure and have played hard cricket carn't make their way into the international team. Ben Curran making his ODI debut for Zimbabwe is hopefully a boost.
