You can’t beat the sound of Bernard Butler in full flow with a Gibson 355 through a Vox AC 30 playing lead and rhythm simultaneously. If you know you know.

@@mojopin1997 Suede starting going downhill as soon as Codling got involved. Oakes takes 10 years to write a good album. Coming Up and Bloodsports are 10/10. Still nothing on DMS.

@@lecrapauddejerri9 I disagree codling has been on fine form since bloodsports. Night thoughts, the blue hour and the new album autofiction have been excellent. How many bands have made such strong albums since reforming? And people should stop comparing everything to dog man star. That was their masterpiece just like Radiohead had ok computer and oasis definitely maybe. Suede have only ever made 2 lacklustre albums.

danny haobam it's the Tears. It wasn't Suede because they didn't want it to be. If you don't like the songs that's on you, I was a fan from 1992, I wasn't disappointed.

After Suede broke up in 2003, Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler (who left Suede in '94) reunited and formed the group The Tears and released an album under that name in 2005. This performance is from that period.

@joshuakodrat7 жыл бұрын
Wouter T both of them is amazing, but with different guitar's styling. Butler is art-rock style with more 70's sound, Oakes is modern-rock style with more glammy sound😊😊
@flashboy20207 жыл бұрын
I agree that they're both amazing. Although Bernard also had his glam moments and I wouldn't define his style as art-rock, but it definitely has more of a seventies sound to it than Richard's style. I guess I take back what I said: I love Richard's playing as much as I do Bernard's :-)
@milugardeimagenysonido6 жыл бұрын
Richard also loves Bernard more... you won't find any influence of Richard´s guitar style on Bernard´s.
