Hey, so I am actually wanting to become a software engineer (a bit of a shift since I was originally in pre med) and I wanted to know what your path was like? I found out that there isn't a dedicated "software engineering degree" at most of the colleges I was looking at and so I was a bit curious as to what the educational pathway looked like for you after you received your CS degree.

I took the most traditional path: college majoring in CS, graduated and started working in the industry right after. To be honest, any path that can get you experience in coding (bootcamp, community college, internship at a local software company) is a great way to get your foot into the door! Good luck!
