Great content. I'm in need of a new hobby thinking about perhaps getting into diving for these things. First port of call will be a local seafood restaurant, though. (I've never even tasted the local ones & need to know if it's worth the effort XD)

Only just found your videos! They are amazing! Not asking for any secret spots, but anywhere you would recommend for a beginner to try and learn Freediving Crayfish in Hobart? Something not to deep to start with! as itll be a fun disaster to start with i reckon!

i'd recommend having a look around blackmans bay for crays if you want to go somewhere close to hobart! They take a while to get the hang of i must say though

when a crayfish backs into a hole he locks his legs in a forward position so he can't be pulled out. So if he does this grab the base of his horns tightly and push him back into the hole a bit. He then locks his legs in the back position because he doesn't want to go backwards.. then pull him out quickly. Give it a try. It works. Do this in a quick motion.
