I don't normally comment but felt I really needed to make an exception here. First and foremost both of you have really really good souls, something that seems to be missing in our current world. Second, neither of you look old enough to be celebrating 15 years of marriage (uh, that's a really big compliment). With all the angry nastiness we all seem to be exposed to on a daily basis, and while I don't know how others think, I have gotten used to watching your weekly updates, where not only they make me feel good, but it also restores my faith in the future. So I tip my hat to you both and thank you for sharing your journey with us.

I've watched you two provide musical instruments to students in 3rd world countries, raise money to help cats in the same area, help a cancer patient gets his meds, and so much more. The only conclusion I can come to is that you two are quite amazing humans. Trevor Evans is right. The world needs more people like you, both singular and plural. I'd like to say thank you for all that you do!!!!

There’s Givers and there are Takers in this World, you two are Givers and the World needs more people like you. I always wondered what the story of your sister was, and what an amazing story it is. Taking on so much responsibility so early in your marriage must have been a lot, but it just goes to show what sort of people you both are and why you’ve got such a huge following and why you seem to spread joy everywhere you travel. Bless you both, you’re an inspiration to humanity.

You became real people to me. Not just people living a life I want to live but also two people I want to be like. You guys are even more amazing than your lifestyle and that is no small feat! Your pukana at 3:03....priceless. Wasn't expecting you to do that 😂 The tree stump you saw of the kauri, Agathis australis, is a species unique to the Bay of Islands region. They are one of the most ancient trees in the world, their ancestors date back all the way to the JURASSIC period. Though the largest trees in the world remain the giant Sequoia of California. Unfortunately just like the Sequoia, they are both in the Threatened range I'm glad I recommended this place to you some time ago. By simply walking around this place you're diving right into why New Zealand is New Zealand. You gain admiration for the Maori people, their culture, and everything they've faced. And you can't help but appreciate the details of their designs, the time and effort it takes to do all of that is mind-blowing. Dedication to keeping traditions going, something to respect. That building also makes me appreciate the haka even more. The haka the All Blacks rugby team perform before a match leaves you speechless.

Sometimes watching the two of you reminds me of being in a garden full of flowers. Looking at them individually has a certain appeal, even when the occasional blossom looks a bit wrong somehow, then you gaze from another direction and it is perfection. Then you step back and take in the entire tapestry...it all flows together in a symbiotic relationship, lending color, and depth, beauty and peace, whiffs of lovely scents, and an earthy aroma hiding just in the background, the give and take of shadows and sunlight while the days and seasons go on. Watching you as individuals is like seeing how one rose can stand on its own, but when placed together there is a deep realization of the perfect pairing your relationship has become, and maybe always was. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

So, I get to the point in the video where Jason says “I’m gonna take a picture of this waterfall.” And then I see this beautifully composed shot with perfect exposure but clearly you took a loooong exposure to get the smooth flowing water effect. I go “Okay, this guy took this picture like a pro.” And then I find out you ARE a pro. Now I understand why the visual quality of this channel is so superior. It gets windy in NZ. Cook Strait is fairly well known for ferocious winds. When the Kiwis came across to Botany Bay in 1979 for the World A-Class Catamaran championships, they had shorter masts than us Aussies. It's an open design class. We ranged from 27 to 30 ft masts and they were around 24 to 27 ft. It's quite a tall rig for an 18ft single-handed, very light boat. They explained about the winds. It's stuck in my mind ever since. Well done with your sister, Nikki. You done good 😍😍

Just a heads up traveling in NZ in a camper van. If you park up and go into tourist attractions where you will be away from your van, be very careful as you are 99% going to be robbed. The lovely locals sit and wait for tourists to wander away where you won’t be back for 1-2 hrs. They always smash the passenger window to get in as they do it so much it’s easy then climbing over the drivers side. When you go back into the tourist attraction to tell staff you have been robbed most likely they have the police form behind the desk ready to fill out. But don’t waste your time. Head to the nearest van glass repair shop they will show you a full rack of passenger side windows ready to put back in, in 30mins. Just be super careful where you park. Hide anything valuable or take it with you.

I also appreciate how you embrace the culture of the different places your visit. As a "part time" traveler myself I am often embarrassed with how a few people act in foreign countries. You two are extremely respectful of host cultures and people and that makes you great ambassadors and wonderful examples of how folks from different places and cultures can enjoy each other. It was so loving and giving, to provide your sister with a safe, nurturing, productive home while she finished her teen years. What a great story, and her success is a great outcome, and result of the home and healthy environment you provided for her! But, you did not raise her. You parented her, and provided for her, for a few years and did an amazing job - better than many natural parents. But it's an exaggeration to say that you raised her. I wish all troubled teens had relatives like you to turn to. Great job! 💗

Love you for not leaving your sister alone and unprotected from the world or herself. You're both beautiful ppl inside and out ❤️

As a former wedding photographer I congratulate you on the reasonableness of your wedding. I saw so much outrageous waste, narcissism and negative emotion in weddings I attended that I came to appreciate modesty in all aspects of those events.

This is awesome. My wife and I, our wedding photographer said the same of us when we got married. He is now a close friend of the family and has come several times to do family portraits. You guys do great work!

New Yorkers especially think you have to have big, expensive weddings. Midwesterners, not so much.

You know, what I like about you guys, always smiling and happy. Nothing get's you down, and you don't show the negative on the screen. I like happy, more then an unhappiness. I am sure you are happy nearly all the time.

The words ‘thank you’ seem so inadequate to express how much I love the fact that you two so openly share your life with us. You help me remember that passion does not have to look a certain way. You have lived your lives with passion and I expect that will always be true for you. ❤️❤️
