I was one of the college students hired to work in the Teller House's "Eureka Room" restaurant as a waitress in Summer 1968. I remember the opera, The Piratex of Penzance, and the play "There's A Girl in My Soup." Loretta Young was there, and I met her, but I do not recall why she was there. There was a Yellow Rose Ball that summer. I also recall a Centennial Celebration where the streets in front of the Teller House were painted with large numerals "1868" in red, white, and blue. The females were housed in the old Medical Building a short distance from the Teller House. It was a fun summer, and I am so grateful for the experience. I went back after gambling became legal, and the town had changed so much. It was not nearly as lively as it was that Summer in 1968. Thanks for the video!
