The song is abt respect...& disrespecting those who believe & the basis of this song is abt respecting women....sounds like you a part of the idiots who think respect is music that call women hoes & twitches & men nigs & thug life..etc...a lost generation baby making & no fathers no marriage no love songs...its pathetic...just why the white excutives stop it & gave yaw scraps & yaw eatin it up 40+yrs...its ironic how yaw stole beats & musical arrangements & can't sing or dance at parties..kids are killing as teanagers...just like the man wanted 1dead 1 in jail for life.

This song is fascinating when you really put your ear to it. The rhythm carries the melody throughout the entire song. Yet it's never repetitive or overbearing. There's a lot going on within the instrumentation as well as the vocal performances in every section of the TEMPTATIONS song. No part is exactly the same. Everything in this song just seems to totally click. Great composition and recording. It's a masterpiece of our timeless BLACK musical talent and cultures contribution to HUMANITY!
@wegap20122 жыл бұрын
Agree 100%. All the elements of a great R&B song come together here. It’s perfectly executed, making it timeless. Finally the message taught many a young man about how to behave around a lady. Chivalry is hopefully still alive and well.
