A selection in the Mellow Mood vein. Credit Barry Gordy for diversifying their repertoire. While not as popular as the sweet soul hits made famous by the Classic Five, they exhibit a different side of five multi-talented singers and their ability to interpret the standards from the Great American Songbook. Rest in peace those that are no longer with us. 🕊✝️

Makes me miss a gentler sweeter time when people and music was sweetier. When musicians thought about being attractive and neat .. now they not only writing on bodies their faces look like two year old with marker. This was a greater time in all things.

The Temps were the epitome of class. Watching them on TV made us feel full of pride. Most of us that grew up on this, James, The Impressions, Staple Singers, etc., look at life and respect life a certain type of way.
