The Marvel Cinematic Universe has always been home to intimidating villains but over the course of the last two phases and the introduction of phase 5, the threats have had to become more and more powerful as our heroes continually defeat any and all enemies who threaten to destroy everything the heroes care about. In today’s video, we will be breaking down the 10 most powerful villains in the MCU thus far. While this list will certainly be controversial we will do our best to explain the reasoning for each placement as well as we can, but just be aware we wont be able to list every single reason a character is where they are. If you’d like more detailed breakdowns, please check out the individual videos for some of these characters which I’ve already uploaded and if you’d like a breakdown for any of the characters here that don’t have videos, let me know in the comments.

I personally wouldn't have Ronan above helia and maybe surter since she was weakened for him to kill her. Imo theoretically if she were at full power plus asgard I think she would be above but of course we never see this similar to never seeing how Odin defeats surter. Outside of this, I think the ranking is ok maybe the gor part if he's only beyond the hela we saw and if he could kill the gods has implied. I appreciate the Acknowledgment of Wanda and Where could be And with the hype Kang is getting I wouldn't be surprised if he's 2 but again I think this list is pretty correct in order

The quantum realm is connected to the multiverse and you can get there through the quantum tunnel or pym particles. Pym particles are just messing with matter. Wanda could probably learn to create pym particle like effects and get to the quantum realm, and use her probability magic mojo to go to any universe she wants.

Now that in the Finale of "What if.." seson two is out, we got to see Supreme strange as the villain ! Went around the multiverse collecting universal sized threats. He is much stronger than the universal threats of Hella, Ego, Thanos with Full Gauntlet etc He is multiversal somewhere between Scarlet Witch and Kang ?? Strange has now battled two full gauntlet characters. But kang created anti magic tech TVA to nullify the stones to paper weights. Strange destroyed his own universe S1 then in the Finale S2 he gave his life to recreate his own universe. Kang can also do this but rewrite the script completely. Supreme strange has outclassed the scarlet witch in every way but I think kang is many steps ahead.

Here ist my Ranking: 1. Ultron with the Infinity Stones 2. Dormammu 3. Kang 4. Thanos with the Infinity Stones 5. One of those Celestials that we saw create Stars or maybe even Galaxis 6. Scarlet Witch 7. Ego (He is Pretty much in scarlets Level) 8. Surtur (9. Alioth) 9. Gorr 10. Hela 11. Agatha Harkness (with Hela and Gorr nearly same Level) (12. King Laufey - could be because Back than He was a real Match to Odin who at that time had beaten surtur already) 12. Thanos without Stones 13. Ronan with Stone 14. Malekith with Stone In conclusion: except Scarlet and Ronan and maybe Ego, our Ranking is somewhat the Same, Nobody can make a perfect list, so I give yours an A.

Great List but the overstatement of Hela being stronger than Odin was never stated... He defeated her and banned her to Hel using his own life force to keep her imprisoned for Eoons... and they all use Asgardian magic or Earth science... so if he was able to trap her and she couldnt defeat him based on the fact that she is levels more powerful on Asgard... I feel that stating that Hela is more powerful than Odin is an oversimplification.....

Not even close. Hela was able to destroy Thor’s hammer (made with (Uru) with ease. Uru is much stronger than Vibranium. Hela could kill Ultron with her bare hands. Adding her sword into the mix, it isn’t even a competition. And Gorr has the Necrosword which is incredibly powerful and far more powerful than Ultron.

Tbh you had Kang too low. Kang/Kang dynasty should actually be number 1 imo. He is stated to be the most powerful MCU villian to date and the statement isn’t wrong. You agree that the infinity stones are paper weights in the TVA. What’s stopping Kang from doing that to Ultron? Kang’s technology/Alioth can destroy timelines. Ultron threatening a multiverse is most likely the same as him threatening a timeline( and he can’t destroy it all at once) because each timeline has infinite universes contained. Kang being above to destroy multiple timelines puts him far above Ultron.

I would put Dormamu under Thanos ( full gauntlet. We know that time stone is describe as greatly affecting him . Power stone amp other stones . Me personally believe that Thanos is power and time strone can beat him but with 4 more stones become crazy strong .

He created celestials to extend his life being the avatar of the compendium of the universe, the celestials create suns, to foster life bearing planets, protected by eternals, deviants, billions of species elsewhere to do the same, act as a planets antibody syatem long enough for the celestial seed to grow to gestation and finally birth thus begining the cycle anew. the farmer sows seeds, the seeds grow plants that grow more seeds and trillions die as it goes on throughout time.

You are absolutly right, Scarlet Witch is one of the most overrated characters in Mcu. She makes Blackbolt mouth disappear while Thanos literally turns Drax and Mantis to blocks. Thanos created his own little hex on Titan to show Dr Strange what happened to it. Scarlet Witch throws a statue at Captain Marvel meanwhile Thanos throws a moon at Iron Man
