Spend as much time with your dad as you can, don’t ever be to busy to visit with him. My dad passed away unexpectedly this pass Monday, July 5th and I would do anything to be able to talk to him again or call him. Life is short, none of us are promised our next breath so spend as much time with him and your family as you can nothing else is more important then that

I'm 76 now, not sure how old your Dad is, but this June my left hip got so bad every step was a shooting pain. My pharmacist said I should try Osteo-Bi-Flex after 2 weeks of taking it morning and night, out of the blue, my pain went away. Now working on getting strength back in my left quad to walk. Walking with no pain, what a joy that is 😎 Best of luck to your Dad, my family loves your channels 💖❗️

Great to see this tent video pop up! I had just commented on of your last videos how some seasons you don’t get to go to camp as much. Here at our camp we have to prune the hillside in front of the lake, like you had to do to the Maple shoots that grow around the stump. Nature always wants to move back! Good luck and prayers for you Dads surgery….it can be a real game changer for sure. It’s nice in early July to start to talk about the upcoming deer seasons! Hope you have a wonderful get together with your family.

I use a "Thermacell" for keeping away mosquitoes. They sell them for individual use and they sell them for larger spaces such as outdoor patios etc... and they work great! I take mine along when I'm turkey hunting or early season bowhunting and I haven't had any problems with mosquitoes since I've been using one. And surprisingly for something that works so well they are fairly inexpensive. If you haven't heard of them I recommend looking into one, they can save a lot of grief up in the Northwoods.

Ah, so nice to be back at the tent even though it was brief. I was disappointed that your camera missed your Dad talking about his hip replacement, I've had both done, one anterior and one posterior, I was curious which he's getting. The anterior was much easier to recover from, way less restrictions after surgery. Best of luck to him for a speedy recovery either way. Best channel ever, look at you up to 222k subscribers, I noticed you panned on your KZbin 100k plaque, always a pleasure.

Joe, enjoyed the video and good seeing you up at the tent. Hope everything goes well with your dad's surgery. It is always good seeing him up there or in the workshop, love to see what he comes up with on furniture making! Boy it looked so peaceful up there, I would get lost and never want to go back!! I know you got a lot of work, you are always a busy guy, but I would take Melissa's advise and stay the weekend. Unwind a little. Cooking over a fire like that is so relaxing. I would be glad to send you some of our rain from WV!! Can't wait for deer season myself, love going to our camp. We are still having issues, but hopefully we will get moved to another lot and get away from those issues. I would be at camp this weekend if it wasn't for those issues. Sure wish I owned a small parcel of land to put our bus and campers on. Again great video, and you have some money in that wood laying there!! LOL Thanks for sharing your trip to the tent. Awesome video Joe!! I’ve been trying to go camping but I’ve been super super busy trying to get my pole barn that is 60’x80’x16’ high side walls all prepped and ready to pour concrete in it!! I also had to put two water hydrants in, two floor drains in, and a full bathroom set up in it before I could even start to lay styrofoam down for the infloor heat!!! We ended up pouring almost 100 yards of concrete in total!! But it’s finally all in I just have to put a sealer on top of the concrete this weekend and then maybe next weekend I might end up trying to get out to camp and maybe get a line wet also!! I have definitely been wanting to go camping all year long!! Plus I figured that if I would just get away for a little bit it would give the concrete some time to finish curing out fully before I end up putting anything on it!! I guess I also will be caulking all the cut joints that I put in the concrete also but need to weight at least 28 days before I can caulk the joints!!! At least you got to get out and do a little camping!! Definitely looks like so much fun!!! Lol!!!

I have thought to buy stock in the fire-starter company, not to mention the Al foil one also. Two years ago, based on your experiences, I bought an Oklahoma Joe's Highlander Smoker/BBQ. I bought it at Lowe's just before Christmas in order for my brother and nephew to have a project over Christmas...... I am so pleased with it and especially use it for bone-in pork shoulders. I went to grad school at UNC, Chapel Hill in 1966 and found NC BBQ w/ the vinegar sauce. I was in love and now I can make my own. Just did a 9 lb. on on July 4.
