"My God" was my answer as well. Jokic has never been defended this well in his life. At a mile elevation. Jokic is still MVP this year, but we are seeing a great team and an emerging superstar. Ant is not Jordan, but he's got Jordan's competitive DNA. And the rest of the team plays ball like champions. Only Murray returning to form gives them any chance. I'm even thinking sweep.

It just goes to show how difficult it is to repeat, let alone threepeat. It's why those 90s Bulls and early 2000s Lakers are so special. It's insane all the teams that rose up to challenge em and they overcame that. On the topic of the Wolves-Nuggets, I think the series is over. It's nothing against the Nuggets. The Wolves are just too good on defense and there's not much that the Nuggets can do this season to ameliorate that. The best shot any team would have is to hit 3s consistently, like the Mavs or Celtics, but even they may get whooped considering they don't have the size inside.

I Remember Denver competing against Utah in the bubble, and they were really inexperienced and fell into a 3-1 hole twice that post-season (to the Jazz and then the Clippers) before waking up and pulling themselves out of that hole two consecutive times to win the series in game 7. No way that's happening with the T-Wolves tho

Rick Carlisle has to make the adjustment on the team rebounding, which I think he will, where too often the Pacers were flat footed watching balls come of the rim while the Knicks were flying to them. I still think the Pacers can win this series in six because they simply score far easier that New York and have far more depth. I would bet Indiana taking Game 2.

I think it's just a bad matchup for Denver. Seems like the Wolves built the perfect defensive roster to contain this team. If you watched the game the Wolves are basically just Patrolling the paint while also running the shooters off the 3 pt line. They are leaving the mid range wide open and it doesn't seem like Denver has anyone that is confident in taking a lot of Mid range jumper so If they don't adjust their strategy this will be a clean sweep 🧹

I think Denver is cooked, Murray lingering injury and letting himself get frustrated way too early. Also Malone is losing his mind with the “non-calls” when I think the message to the team should be to toughen up and play their physical ball and try to match their energy. Jokic looking suspect defensively and the 2 bigs in the paint throwing him off his pace and smooth game around the basket🤔 Minnesota sweeping Phoenix and Denver back to back would be insane

Denver started looking off 2 weeks before the reg season ended. Not taking anything against the wolves. They beat our ass. But as someone who watches most of the denver games we lost our mojo or something when it counted the most at the end of the season. Had we not lost our mojo we would have beat LA easily; instead, yes we won 4-1 but we were down most of the time and happened to get our mojo or fire or whatever u wanna call it in the last 5 min of those games. We look like a pickup team with half assing the plays we run. Otherwise the t-wolves just beat our ass blue. I've never seen a defense like that. @@poorchris I watched all of those teams. Grit and Grind and tough defense is not my problem. Brunson being a ball hog and nothing but high screen pick and rolls with guys who suck is what bores me.

The Nuggets aren't good for basketball. Your best players have to be likable and have a personality. Jokic and Murray are both duds of personalities. As least Minny is full of players good for the league.
