yup tons of Shark Ads. Shark Vertex upright, Shark Vertex Cordless, Shark AI Robot VacMop, and sometimes during Christmas, Shark IQ ads are saying "The perfect holiday gift." There are also old ads for the Shark IQ that show people doing free time stuff claiming "This is me Vacuuming!"

Zoiks! I had hoped for better! Mine does great on my small house on 100% hardwood floors, but it took multiple (20+)runs and two deleted maps to build an accurate map of the house. I named mine The Kraken so I can say "Alexa, release the Kraken!"

Haha I've been waiting for this one! You should punish it by kicking it out of the house, make it live outside and see how long it lasts put its charger in your backyard and just let it drive around in your backyard for days and days and see how long it survives 😂

Perhaps I have a newer version as it is the self-empting kind but I'm very happy with the shark IQ. There's a couple things that are important with the Shark. For one you need to make sure it's on full power cleaning mode, which can only be accessed via the app. If you use it without the app, it's a default is eco mode. I'm actually really surprised at how well the shark IQ works after using Neatos for the past decade. I literally just got done testing my shark IQ vs my neato bovac connected (which is a very expensive robo vac). The shark absolutely destroyed the neato on both carpet and hardwood which I was not expecting at all. I've also owned many Roomba and always preferred Neato. That said I can't find one thing to complain about with this Shark, especially for the price. I think it works great.

Same here...when I was buying my first robot vac I actually ordered the Shark...then seen this channel and my eyes were opened...I sent the Shark back without opening the shipping box...bought a Roborock S4max...it performs flawlessly in my house

I have a shark iq and I gotta say I wasn't impressed but I noticed a lot of it's problems are caused from the single side brushes I don't understand why they have those. So what I did was buy some coredy side brushes and customize them to fit on it and it picks up soooo much better now. I also run it on max power every time because it's basically useless in normal mode.

For your rice tests, ONLY ONCE. Instead of rice, it’s salt. And ONLY the roomba s9+ gets to clean. Will it fill fast? We don’t know.

To be fair there is a world of difference between mapped shark and unmapped shark. The problem lies in the difficulty of setting the initial map. If you plan to destroy it give it to me instead I'll take the junk off your hands :)

My Roomba 692 would have done a better job. And thanks to your recommendation, I got a brand new 'used' 692 from Amazon for $125.00. In original box and zero blemishes.

@@AdamsReviews Yeah, having one upstairs and downstairs on separate schedules is awesome. I love all the new tech, and LIDAR mapping stuff, but really in my home it's pretty much wasted, and is just another thing to break. The 600 series if anything are rugged, and reliable. Interested to see how the 692 compares. Obviously it's gonna fail in pure navigation, but it will be interesting to see how it compares with others in brute cleaning ability.

The only thing this vacuum is good for is to give small pets rides around the house. Perhaps you could sell tickets to your neighbors to give their pets rides around the neighborhood. You could get some of your money back. 😂😂😂😂 kidding

I think it might cause an accident for pets...look at how it does an 'emergency' brake when stopping to change direction (the butt of the robot lifts up due to the braking force)!
