How was this man able to see what would be in another 20 years? Pure intellect, faith and wisdom. Amazing to listen to him today, Dec 7, 2020, and realize his words ring ever-so true on this day as they did so long ago. Everything he says needs to be heard, repeated, believed, trusted and acted upon today. For our future's sake, our children's future's sake, our old world's sake. God bless this gentle man. Rest in Peace, kind soul. And thank you for such inspiration and thought.

You are so correct. I do feel however, if he were alive today, there are people that would demonize him. People don't like facts that are history. I have been spreading Paul's commentaries to family and friends. I hope they do the same. God bless.

All he had to do was look into the past to see the future. As they say history does not repeat but it sure does rhyme.

I am a disabled Texas Peace Officer.other than a trucker I don't think anyone spends as much time driving as a police officer I would bet in an 8 hour shift when things are slow police officer clocks between 7 1/2 to 7 hours and 45 minutes drive time. I like you would schedule my lunch around his noontime show. It was as if all the wisdom of jobe was delivered to your patrol car at lunch time. It was never boring always informative and sometimes very very educational.

@@brt-jn7kg On our 10 hour shifts, I'd drive over 100 miles per shift in the small town I worked in as a reserve patrolman. I averaged at least 8 1/2 hours driving up and down streets, occasionally getting out to check for unlocked doors on businesses. I miss those days. I miss being a cop.

@@DarianCaplinger thank you for your service sir! I miss those days but I wouldn't do them over again today. This whole attack the cop shining spotlight on his family and the press goes through your pass like Jesus would look for sins it's something I don't think I could do. Back in the old days you pulled your hand away for me when I told you you were under arrest I would automatically spray you in a heartbeat. I was taught Feliz by a bunch of old timers. Real true hard-nosed former officers and Texas state troopers. I'm sure you know the breed the kind that would pull you through the old vent windows for clearing your throat wrong. LOL I don't recognize my country anymore. The first Chief of Police I ever had and still my only best buddy is still on the job. I keep begging him to get out 27 years is enough. where were you an officer at? My last job was at the Hewitt Police department on I-35 just south of Waco Texas. of all the things I've been through and all the things I saw and all the ways I got hurt on the job I never thought that I would be almost killed by 16 year old girl and a Nissan. I don't like how I left enforcement out of law enforcement. I was on the job 17 and a half years.

When I was a kid I watched both my Dad and his brother speak softly about WWII usually over a shot of whiskey, Dad was in the Atlantic for three years on a ship and his brother was in Normandy. I remember they both would talk about hearing Paul Harvey's message on the radio. They commented on his wisdom and gift to predict the possible future of America. As a kid I didn't get it, but, now more then ever I understand. This message is timely. God Bless America.

There are many Paul Harvey's in America. They are known as those who are waking up America from the sleepy stupor the MSM has kept us in for a very long time. We have the haters that don't want the truth to be told, because they will lose all power and greed. God is having his day in the world right now, by waking us up. Greed and power will never withstand the Word of God. What we have in politics right now is 'pure evil'. Light vs. dark, right vs. left. It isn't about parties. It is the evil that has been in the world for a very long time, but now has shown its ugly head.

Less is more.. A smaller working government With Term Limit in office.. By passing American Transportation Act.. Would get U.S. out of the WorldBank and UN and end the IRS reign of abuse of power that are feeding madmen of hypocrisy. We need a new tax structure State by State agreeing upon a healthy Defense Department fiscal budget. Then State by State defines thier own federal bank role. This is how we become a smaller working government..Of the people..By the people..For the people. Lowering our prices will save our nation from bankruptcy. Downsizing non essentials of greed in Washington will guarantee Everyone actually works for a living not sits and takes the working man's income While sitting doing nothing all day and calling themselves government officials. #UnitedToOverCome The tyranny of greed. #unitedshadesofintegrity

If you believe in God, do you think a good God will stand by and watch a nation turn from being blessed by Him to cursing Him? Won't He punish that nation who kills their own children, makes it legal and calls it women's rights? And that against their own Declaration which says . . ."we hold these truths to be self evident. That all men are created equal and are endowed be their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Will a good God punish those wicked murderers? Will He allow tyrants to take away the freedoms that they denied to their own unborn children? Yes! That's what is happening. Our only hope is to repent of our legalized murder and ask our good God to forgive us and restore us to the nation that believed in morality and holiness from its founding in 1776.

Paul Harvey was the conventional equivalent for FDR in his time. His voice and his wisdom made a whole lot of sense to a public that had no reasonable leaders for guidance. There is no substitute for folksy assurance that this country will not embrace. Having listened to him traveling Coast to Coast over the past 30 years his voice was a comfort at 3 a.m. in the middle of nowheresville Kentucky. Godspeed to you mr. Harvey

Words of wisdom and guidance . More people should listen to Paul Harvey. He always hit the nail on the head. And he spoke to you from his time, but history repeats itself and we should be able to make sure that we take the advice and make America great again. Some don't want that to happen, but we need to make sure it's made great again.

Thought of this today as we face the current pandemic. Hope seems fleeting, but that is nothing new. Dark times always seem to extinguish the flames of hope and courage. Yet the flame reignites just when things get darkest. We've entered a Final Exam of sorts in our Testing Time. Each of us must reach deep and find that flame and feed it so it burns brightly, then share that with one another, passing a torch until we stand united as one people. We are fortunate to have the Internet to help pass that flame. Stay strong everyone. It'll get worse, but it will pass. Reach out to those you can. Enemy, friend, it doesn't matter right now. We're all in this together. Take advantage of the great tools we have.

kingfish 319 I read about him. He sure persevered. It was sad to see after he went on to become Governor of Montana, (ticking off both democrats and republicans, as someone else we know😅) he lost his life falling of the steamboat he was on. It was written it remains a mystery, as to what lead up to his demise. Sad; after all he accomplished, for the Country. Semper Fi.

After trudging through the thicket, throught the storm, the test; the prospect of reaching the peaceful destination on the most perfect of day, Blue skies, warm sunshine and security. through it all keeping God close. Finally the test is over and talking with God again: thank you, God. I can take it from here. What a worthwhile struggle. One that in all the hardships will now never be taken for granted. Well earned and without question. Man has fit himself in his righteous and natural place on earth. Another of Mr. Harvey's quotes, " if I were the devil, id take from those who have and give to those who wanted until i had killed the incentive of the ambitious." Let us not give up in times of peril for we are being tested and more importantly, we are being built to be stronger becuase we are the children of God and it is his will to make us strong. We cannot become strong without knowing pain and suffering. Only by walking out on the other end of the storm may we realize the strength we are intended to grow into
