I'm curious to visit the Tevinter Imperium as an elf, all my characters were like that, apart from Hawke, being still as the Inquisitor or not, I can only imagine the problems that this can trigger, obstacles and even certain advantages, depending on how the plan of Solas goes and if any changes about the elven people arrived at the Imperium. Furthermore, I am very concerned about Dorian, we know that he is a great target for people from the Imperium himself, as his father was, and can be targeted by followers of Solas too, demons and Qunari, I hope he will be as good as possible and hold on until we get there to help him.

True enough. Dorian gets all of the Imperium's regular foes gunning after him, along with his fellow countrymen. My biggest concern is that Maevaris exist; not because I don't like her as a character, but because her existence means a "Dorian is dead, but I shall carry on his dream" scenario is a possibility; player choice or otherwise.

I have loved the Tevinter Imperium since the first game, and I would give everything to be able to play in Tevinter, and AS a Tevinter Blood Mage.

I would add we have plots revolving around the Dwarven Ambassadoria, Kal-Sharok, Weisshaupt, and the Formless One as well. I would like to see how dwarves live under and in Tevinter. I'd like to find out what is happening in Kal-Sharok as well. Maybe we'll get an update on the Architect's plan, and even if he's dead then Seranni should appear to continue his work along with some awakened darkspawn disciples. This could lead into storylines with Weisshaupt, the Warden schism, the Hero finding the cure for the taint, and also the origin of the darkspawn. Also, the new protag will HAVE to fight the Formless One to keep with the tradition of each protag fighting one of the Forbidden Ones. I think it would be great to have the protag hunt down and find the Formless One posing as one of the Magisters, manipulating the Magisterium behind the scenes. As for the darkspawn origins, I think it would be logical for us to find that one of the Magisters Sidereal was a female, and after being cursed, became the first broodmother. I personally believe she was Razikale's high priestess, since the carving found in a cave in the Western Approach depicts a woman holding a horned skull over her with worshipers beneath her. This could be a priestess holding up a representation of Razikale. And this could also play into Tevinter's old god worship storyline, and it could even lead us to actually meet Razikale as an non-corrupted great dragon. The thing with the Qunari bothers me. How can the Antaam attack Tevinter without orders from the Arishok? That would automatically make them tal-vashoth. So unless everyone is acting like Viddasala and taking the interpretation of the Qun into their own hands, then this doesn't make sense for the Qunari. Are you certain this isn't just a case of the Arishok and Arigena being in agreement that Tevinter be attacked and the Ariqun simply disagreeing but being overruled? That can happen, right? 2 to 1 vote? In addition to Tevinter building things with magic, they have also employed dwarven craftsmen and builders to create some constructs, such as Ostagar. Also, some structures are rumored to be demons bound to physical form. This might be an explanation for the sleeping demon rumored to be sealed under Minrathous. I think I would like to play as a soporatti warrior, perhaps high up in the military. A highly capable non-magic user I think might have a good balanced perspective on Tevinter. Either that, or a laetan, a mage looking to prove himself. But either way, I envision my new protag being dissatisfied with Tevinter and its corruption. I want to play a somewhat negative and dark character this time around. The kind of character who if you asked him if he thinks Solas' plan should succeed and the human world be destroyed, he would reply saying, "Flip a coin". As for qunari in Tevinter, I only see that race being playable in a slave origin, but I don't think a slave would be good enough to fit the requirements of DA4's setting (which will include fighting qunari). So I hope they don't bother with making qunari a possible race to play as. Instead, I would rather see a Grey Warden female tal-vasoth as a party companion. Possibly romancible. I'm pretty sure Krem was blackmailed for lying to the recruiter. Or something like that. And I think Magister Tilani was opposed at first before defeating numerous Magisters or their hired goons. So yeah, I think Tevinter does look down on that. And the way I read that codex about homosexuality, it seems like the nobility is not to engage in it at all, while they may encourage their slaves to engage in it for their own amusement. For example, a female Magister would encourage her male slave to do it for her own amusement, or a male Magister would encourage his female slaves to do it for his amusement. That's the way I understood it, especially since Magister Pavus tried to use blood magic to make Dorian straight. I hope we get an intricate mystery for Pavus' assassination. Personally, I think it would be great to have Tilani be the one who orchestrated the assassination in order to elevate Dorian and benefit the Lucerni. I think there should be wrong conclusions for us to choose, and a scapegoat who could take the fall. Also, if we discover the truth, we'll have the option to expose Tilani or keep it a secret. Soporati assassin/spy could be another good origin for a protag. I'd like an update on the Architect's plan whether he's alive or dead, I'd like to see a female Magister as the first broodmother, and I have a theory that Kal-Sharok is controlled by another Magister who has infected all Kal-Hirol dwarves with the taint. Time magic only worked because of the Breach. But that was because it was drawing magic directly from the Fade. Perhaps as long as that connection could be maintained, that magic would be able to operate. Even without it, I mentioned before that magic could be used to bind demons to structures to enhance their magic. Binding them to weapons or armor is another option. Though supposedly Solas will intervene if someone tries to bind spirits now. So all that aside, I think the kind of magic I want to see in DA4 is magic or ability bestowed by a titan. I think the new protag could be granted this power, perhaps by interacting with another idol, but one that isn't corrupted. The titan would establish a connection with that protag, who could be of any race, including dwarf. This protag could then use the power to enter the Fade worlds of various people, places, or things (such as books, magical objects, lyrium veins, etc.). This journey into the Fade worlds would be instant, like the interaction between the Herald and Cole and Envy. This could be a good way to implement live service to DA4, where anything or anyone could be updated to hold new quests. If Solas drops the Veil, even if only parts of it, Tevinter will likely be destroyed by it. Basically, everything we'll see in DA4 will be destroyed. That would be a bold move by the devs, to build up Minrathous just to destroy it.

@@Gabriell1126 Thanks. I'm always unsure if people find my long posts annoying or not. I appreciate that so many seem to like this one. Yes, and even if Hawke doesn't kill the Arishok from 2, he still gets replaced with a new Arishok. I too believe that The Arishok and The Hero should meet up again. If BioWare wants to ensure that DA4 is a success, then all they have to do is bring back the Hero. In the case of Sten dying or not recovering his sword, then DA4 should have a new Arishok anyway, and he should still be voiced by the same voice actor (Mark Hildreth, who interestingly enough also voiced the wise human male). They could just switch up his inflection and speech style a little, but have him say mostly the same lines. Good job completing all games. Did you also finish all DLCs? Dragon Age is a series that never seems to get old. I still play Origins and Inquisition.

Would that now mean Solas controls that individual? If so, that means that Solas could, if he wants send the Inquisitor or Morrigan at us if we seek to stop him. My Warden won't be happy that we may have to kill Morrigan bro!

All I know is whomever is the protagonist of DA4 will either have to be extremely lucky to avoid, or be immune to Solas’s petrify ability. All Solas would have to do is turn the opposition team to stone and he can do it from a distance. The hero of DA 4 will have to evade this somehow or they will have to block this ability in some way.

I actually never really thought about that. I was just like "cool power bro" but now that you mention it that is a major threat. I don't think Solas will go full James Bond/Far Cry antagonist, and just not kill you out of but I who knows? I won't be too bothered if it isn't explained perfectly, but weakening Solas/Powering up your character may be a plot point in the final third of the game; in a similar vein to figuring out Cory's revival ability in Inquisition.

One thing that has been bothering me that really shouldn’t have is the inconsistency between the Tevinter architecture in all three of these games. In DAO it looked like how the Elven Architecture looks now, a lot more Greco-Roman from the clearly inspired civilization it was made after. Now it’s this nasty orange spiky, polygonal mess. It kinda made sense when we were in deserts so sandstone would be the on hand material, but orange in a dense forest? Why did the elves just seemingly steal all of Tevinter Architecture? I’m hoping they make the architect look more like the original in the next game when we go to minrathous, a mix of time period appropriate buildings with ancient relics of their peak like when I visited Rome.

binging old videos, but I have a couple of questions that I haven't seen anyone talk about. Idk if it's because there's no information to speak of or I just missed it but here goes: 1) Solas says he only woke 1 year before the explosion of the conclave, but Cory-face says the ritual PC interrupted was years in the making. Could the orb have been stolen and Solas simply blame himself? 2) If the Veil is an artificial construct, and there are many places where it is worn thin from centuries of war and other atrocities. How likely is it that even if we manage to stop Solas' plans, that the Veil collapses on it's own in the next years/decades/centuries? 🎊🎊🎊🎊 More confetti for the continuing celebration of the return of your channel.

Love your dragon age vids. Even bought the recent book thanks to your rec. Bought divinity os2 a short time ago and i'm going to say something i have not seen in one single, solitary review of it - its overrated. Lots i like about but for me the thing that really stands out? I just did not give a damn about one single character in it. So i went back to an old save of dai little thinking i would get an immediate example of why dragon age is SO much better. Went to talk to Varic - as if thats not reason enough to prefer it - and got launched into the wicked grace scene. I CARE about the people in dragon age but could not care less about my own party in dos2. Keep up the good work.

I hope we have another Elf God join us to battle Solas who had pretty much done them wrong in first place and they want to save people of this world. I think it would be interesting. Think of hearing about their world from someone else’s point of view that is different than Solas’s own point of view. Solas is not fully sane anymore from my own point of view after his long term sleep and his reawaken. I do wonder if Sten , Fenris , Anders , Dorian or Iron Bull will be showing up in next game.

Of course Christians started to destroy the cultural heritage e.g. statues of the Roman gods like the fanatics the were (and some still are). This most likely happened in Tevinter, too. I wonder how much of the old statues, buildings and art in general has survived.
