He was such a treasure, and a gentleman. I'm so glad that I had a chance to interview him about his time at the Hotel for my new book about the Galvez.

The Texas Bucket List helps me catch back up with my memories. I am Subscribed and thanking you for giving back my memories! Jackie Houston (yes) Houston is really me last name.

Ball high 81 grad here, during the late 70's the Flagship hotel that was across the street and down a block or so on the water, would only use their first floor during winter because of no tourist back then and we use to sneak in and go to the upper floors and the rooms were unlocked and we would drink beer and hang out on the balcony at night.
