I started going to the bakery in 1964, I was a sophomore in high school. I still go there when I can. I live in San Antonio now. Love the food and people in New Braunfels. 💕

I use to live in New Braunfels from 2004-2009, I lived in the condos next to the Schlitterbahn and I believe it was a 20 minute walk to the bakery from the condos. About every Saturday I would walk to the bakery for a cookie than leave. Memories like that just have a great place in my heart. New Braunfels also had a Hollywood Video/Blockbuster I would visit and a GameStop there where I would buy my Wii which I still have to this day.

I’ve know Ross for a few years, I use to deliver products there and he is really a awesome guy, even saw him at a concert a couple of years later and he came up to me and bullshited a little. Even introduced me to his wife, really nice guy and I’m glad his family owns a piece of history like that.

I was exited to visit New Braunfels and expecting to visit a German Town but it’s just another USA town with chili’s, Mac Donald, “Mexican food” etc etc you should keep the German style and keep it unique. God Bless NB

As usual, great profile. So sad that Texas is losing its identity and freedoms to the invaders from California, NY/NJ, taking over local governments and councils, so sad...

Such a general and uneducated statement. I find every Texas video has some trendy post about how it’s the “invaders” ruining the towns. News flash..people have been moving state to state since the beginning of our great nation. But all the sudden it’s cool to blame change on those people when really it’s just locals who are ruining our own towns. I don’t know anyone who moves somewhere FOR CHANGE then make the new place the same as they left. It doesn’t happen. Look to yourself to see why your community is changing. Blaming others is bullshit.
@kalanix515 жыл бұрын
Anita Henjaub that is a very WASHED OUT, one sided, shirk point! You thinking it’s as simple as blaming others for local downfall is pretty lame and irresponsible. It’s sad that no one takes responsibility for their environment anymore. Just wishing things will stay the same isn’t the equivalent as actually keeping them the same. That’s like blaming immigrants for the downfall but not blaming ourselves for letting it happen. I think you’re just the type that likes to talk heavy but actually just sits and let’s it happen. BTW I’m not liberal. I’m an extreme conservative and our town of New Braunfels is beautiful and I actually make moves to keep it from lazy conservatives and liberals. All is welcome as long as you are willing to take responsibility for your actions.
