Pennie Ochoa was a fine trumpet player, and frequently played as a member of the Johnny Garcia Trio. From time to time, I had the opportunity to play the piano with Pennie at the old Jack Tar Quarter Deck Club. When his family reopened the meat market, I had to smile. Sure made me happy.

On the beach where we used to run Galveston, oh Galveston I am so afraid of dyin' Before I dry the tears she's cryin' Before I see, your sea birds flyin' In the sun at Galveston At Galveston Oh, at Galveston Oh, at Galveston At Galveston Hmm, hmm, hmm Ooh, ooh

I smoked a lot of pulled pork one time and I gave some to my Mexican friends at work. There was so much left over I asked them if they want to take it home. On Monday they brought me 3 trays. 2 were enchiladas with pulled smoked pork and 1 was temales of the same meat. They were so good.
