My boyfriend and I were really excited to try this concept of pineapples filled with food. We saw the pictures and even the interview they had with the KZbin channel " The Texas Bucket List ". When we got there the lady taking the order was very nice and energetic. She was good at selling the food they had there, but do not be fooled. We decided to try the big baller bowl, which features rice, chicken, lobster and shrimp. To our surprise, the food was not seasoned, the rice was undercooked and our pineapple did not have chicken. We ate this pineapple between my bf and I because it was sold to us by the lady telling us it was for 2 persons. The pineapple did not have enough food to even fill one person. We actually had to buy more food somewhere else because we were still hungry. We wasted $40, which for me is very overpriced. Not to mention, the odor there was very unpleasant due to the trash that accumulates. Last thoughts, with those $20-$60 you might waste on the pineapple you can go to any other restaurant on the island and actually pay for a full meal. Unless you eat very little and do not like seasoned food then you can go there. If you are still debating on whether to go or not just go during the day when there is not a lot of people.

Sorry to hear this- at least know you know not to go back . It just sucks the host of "Texas Bucket List " showcases joints like these -- I'm sure his pineapple was FREE so he can't complain.. Did u tell the manager?

That's EXACTLY how I feel. I went there earlier today and was disappointed...EXTREMELY overpriced.! Like you said, for what you paid there, you can buy a complete meal at Blackbeard's..! I bought 2: one like yours and another filled with just more chunks of pineapple.: $50.! For that price, my wife and I could've had TWO shrimp dinners, complete with a salad at Blackbeard's... I posted my honest opinion on Facebook ( no foul language or anything ), and I got LOTS of haters ( INCLUDING the owner) suggesting that I go to McDonald's instead..

I was there 3 weeks ago and based on this video we went to check it out and like you was VERY disappointed. It was pretty expensive and very under seasoned. I do not recommend.

Went excitingly after watching the video and it was all hype. Got the lobster not as good as it look. Everyone was more excited to put pictures up on Instagram than actually eating it. Payed 43 dollars for the lobster combo and the pina colada. Hope this helps!

STAY AWAY from this place...! It's a complete rip-off. ....unless of course, you wanna spend $40!! for HALF of a pineapple with a shrimp or two in the middle... Trust me.! For that amount, you can have TWO well served entrees at Blackbeards just about a mile away.....
