The Texas Bucket List - The Boiling Pot in Rockport

The Boiling Pot began in 1985 as a humble fish house where Dot LeBlanc and her son, Mike, sold fresh shrimp and oysters. Soon after, Dot began cooking up fresh seafood for her friends and family and before she knew it, the business took off! Over the years, the restaurant has continued to thrive. Dot passed away in 2013, but her legacy lives on. Mike and his wife, Ramona, continue the business Dot began with the same recipes, service, and fresh seafood!

This is my home town baby!!! ROCKPORT STRONG!!🥰❤️🥰❤️. My Son's dad & father in law (B&E Const) helped rebuild after hurricane Harvey and are currently do some work now there. We love the boiling pot!! Even though I'm allergic to shrimp 😒, the beans and rice is awesome especially the bread! Yummy!! I live in Rockport and enjoy the Boiling Pot, but man videos like this make it even harder to go there because of the tourists. So when the Pot is crowded we drive over to Port A and go to The Crazy Cajun and get pretty much the same thing.

We’ve been here 2 times. The second time was summer 2019. My wife and I took our grandson so he could experience it. I didn’t think much of it the first time, but for our grandson we’d give it another try. The corn seemed like it had been sitting in the pot all day. The sausage is probably the least expensive I’ve ever had. A few shrimp, the crab not even enough for our 9 year old grandson. Red potatoes, yeah well, can’t mess that up too bad. I’m guessing they were expecting Texas Country Reporter. Two 👎 down.

Like only the corn had flavor, the sausage tasted like you were chewing rubber, the crab stick to the shell when i tried cracking it and peeling it.
