If y'all get a chance, visit the original location on Voss Rd. on Thursdays for the Smoked Reuben. The BEST Reuben sandwich I have ever had.

I lived in Meyersville for 13 years. One of the things I miss about Texas, is the BBQ places. Especially the small town meat market/BBQ joints. Not much going on in these small towns, but there were lots of vehicles around the meat markets!

I 've worked with the people who own Blood Bro's BBQ and the Roegel's are part of the Houston bbq family. Misty and Russel are both amazing people, and their food is amazing! Thanks for shining a spotlight on some wonderful people!

A former QB of my hometown Calgary Stampeders of the CFL is from Kady Texas. I’m sure Bo Levi Mitchell has been in a few times to try these awesome sandwiches! I just love Shane’s laugh! What an awesome host!

Naaman's Championship BBQ in Texarkana, best brisket ever. Pecan Lodge in Dallas has the best sausage, Heim BBQ in Ft. Worth, bacon burnt ends are the bomb, Lockhart's in Dallas also pretty good.

I liked the old Baker's ribs over Roegels. It could be the same rib recipe, who knows? All I know is that the ribs tasted a little different when they switched over to Roegels. Other than that, Roegels 1 is a fine BBQ joint on San Felipe. They have a great atmosphere and a very friendly staff. I have never been to the Katy location. Roegels 1 and Stockyard BBQ are two great BBQ joints, in my area.
