What art scene? Lmao Go to San Antonio. Austin, or Houston if you want an actual art scene. The art walk is the most pitiful thing I’ve ever witnessed being called an art walk. Our art museum is also the tiniest ones I’ve ever visited. It’s a very sad art scene, really.

@@heathercantu770 art isn't just about extravagant exhibitions. Corpus is smaller, no doubt. And everything can be improved on. You're correct, but if we're going to do a comparison game... The cities you mentioned, by your standard, would be a joke compared to many other places in regards to an art scene. Some of us appreciate areas for what they are, not how they compete. Here you are mocking things for what they're not yet your attitude isn't something anybody would want to be on par with. All your worldly experience and you only share your disdain for things, now that's pitiful. You're the person I dislike sitting near on planes, or seeing at attractions. You can appreciate Vienna just as much as you can any small town anywhere on Earth. Isn't that hard to do. Of course you'd rather the other option. Shame to waste such a charismatic personality on that, but such is the joy of freedom!

Of course, the largest employer in the City is CCISD……which means there is literally nothing in the City for economic prosperity. The City Council turn down Sea World in favor of the Texas State Aquarium. Told Tillman Fertitita to “pack sand” when he wanted to create a “Kemah-esq” restaurant and amusement area on the T-Heads. Consequently, the City is dead and will not change.

I've never regretted moving from Los Angeles to Corpus Christi. Great place for fishing, Mexican food, and beaches. It does get hot here, but it's about as close to perfect as you can get

My wife and I slept on the Lexington for a scout camp out for a night. It was a great experience but the bunks were small. At 6 foot I slept curled up to fit.

Ok..I understand going to Whataburger. It's a Corpus Christi company. But a snow cone shop? A pizza joint? And NOT a SEAFOOD RESTAURANT??!! WTH?? Who books this show? I can't imagine going to Corpus and NOT eating fresh seafood..I went there last October and went to Pompanos Restaurant, Harrison's Landing, and Snoopy's Restaurant. All were even better than their reviews 😂😂

Next time you come back to Corpus, go eat Railroad Seafood. They sell fish by the pound or by plate, fried drum and shrimp are their best. WaterStreet Oyster Bar probably has the best grilled or blackened options. They also serve sushi.

FUN FACT: EVERY Whataburger ketchup pack has a number that indicates the saltiness of the pack the number is at the bottom of the label and i believe the levels range from 1-5. :)

You guys have to check out tasty waves, tiny ice cream shop by a laundry mat but I’ve never ever ever had better ice cream in my life. My favorite go to is the strawberry shortcake ice cream and the pretzel. Also north beach isn’t the real beach go to the national park ones! The art downtown is amazing, the music too. K space contemporary is dope. Live bands at house of rock with some perfect pizza there too.

yes, it was an old, abandoned ranch by airline, rodd field, and yorktown area [ which are now suburbs and del mar south campus ] and there used to be an old hangout with junk couches and ripped out car seats and makeshift chairs and tables where the locals would party and get drunk and high. i believe it was late 70's or early 80's they found a cows or goats head with all kinds of satanic imagery and black candles. they did find a body around there that bikers dumped but i dont know if that was the origins of the haunting.
