Thanks for your video, it's very helpful. The following are my learning notes. 学习笔记:当th在t d n l 后时,在发t d n l 时直接把舌头放在发th的位置即可。 1:29 n--th连接 in the, month; instead of placing the tongue behind the teeth just place it on the teeth, then my tongue is already out there ready for the th sound, so you see the tongue goes up touches the teeth and then I'm relaxing the tongue allowing the air to pass to create the th sound. 2:35 t--th连接 at the, eighth, at this; so let's produce the T on the teeth, you see the tongue goes up and then I relax it for the th sound. 3.14 d--th连接 width, good thing; so the tongue is already on the teeth for the for the D.

I've received and watched so many pronunciation lessons so far and they've helped me improve my pronunciation in some measure, but I still had something itchy with my pronunciation. Now I feel like I've finally found an oasis in the desert even offering me a straw so that I can easily suck it up. You seem to know exactly where English learners have problem with pronunciation. The most penetrative video ever. Thx :)

Hey hadar.you are by far the best English teacher I have seen on you tube.I especially love your intonation while talking which is quite natural sounding to me.there are some teachers who intentionally put on a very slow and kinda flat intonation ,may be just to b more undrestandable to us non natives,bt with all due respect I dont think that will help us.dear hadar will u please teach me how to pronounce S at the begining of words without adding E sound.it is difficult for us persians to pronunce student, story, stimulate whithout adding e.love from Iran.

This is actually a thing that we learn in Tajweed (The way to read Qur'an). It's called "Idhgham" which means merging the first letter with the second one (either complete merge which means you don't hear the first letter at all, or half merge which means the first letter is still heard clearly).

I have an interdental lisp that makes my s and z sounds be pronounced with a tongue position that is very similar to the one of the θ and ð sounds, and still sound like s and z. I look for a way to make them sound different: I pronounce the s and z sounds with loose lips and the θ and ð sounds with spreading lips and the tongue farther forward.
