Was lucky to see them open for DM in 1993- ignorant as I was then had never heard of The The. From that moment I was hooked. Saw them in Sacramento in 2000, then in Durham just a month ago to the day. Ensoulment is a masterpiece and Matt's ability to write music that resonates the aortic pulse of the moment whilst songs 40 year old are still so very relevant.
