Jane (Felicity Jones) makes a life-changing decision regarding Stephen's (Eddie Redmayne) health.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
James Marsh's biopic of the celebrated scientist Stephen Hawking, The Theory of Everything, stars Eddie Redmayne as the famous figure. Enrolled as a graduate student at Cambridge, Hawking establishes himself as one of the leading minds of his generation, and begins to win the heart of Jane (Felicity Jones). After one of his earliest breakthroughs, Hawking is diagnosed with ALS, and he becomes less and less able to control his own body. With the loyal Jane at his side, he continues his work. However, as the years progress, Jane starts to feel more like a nurse than a wife, and Hawking begins to have feelings for a woman who is hired to care for him. The Theory of Everything screened at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.

Not only do I love this movie because I'm a geek but because it also speaks volumes to me. I'm an epileptic and so I worry for my future sometimes. This beautiful story assures me that two people can have a beautiful relationship regardless of disabilities.

I hope. It’s not too late to reply but I don’t believe having a neurological disorder is a problem I think it’s an advantage I have one myself and it actually makes relationships easier , because the ones who want to stay will my point is if someone loves you (I’m sure someone will or do already) will stand by your side not matter what. If they don’t well you are better off with them . I wish you all the best 🙂.

I’m epileptic too so I get that sometimes, right now there’s talk of removing the part of the brain that causes my seizures or implanting two devices that send electrical pulses every 30 seconds in my neck and chest. I do joke about it but sometimes it’s no laughing matter when I’m going for MRIs or EEGs. Trust me when I say when you find the person who loves you and supports you even though you have the epilepsy it’s great ☺️ persistence is key with this😂

I can't speak for everyone here but I don't think bashing religion is spreading hate. Bashing something evil, in my opinion, does not constitute spreading hate. On the contrary, it is morally correct, and one should even be morally obliged to speak against it. Hence, "bashing religion", is entirely correct. However, one does not need to be ashamed for believing in God. It is merely the religion that the atheist dislikes, and not the believer.

The acting from both Eddie & Felicity is outstanding & it's a crime that she did not win an Oscar for this role. But man I wish I could see BTS footage of Eddie during in/out takes of this film, the amount of acting skills to play a guy who has ALS must of been super hard to get down right.
