Ok this movie being the first film you’ve ever seen when you were 4, is a bit concerning 😢

Do it! More! I loved. "The Thing" too bad it took me years to see it, but one of my favorite horror films. I think my first horror film was probably a Friday film or Nightmare on Elm Street. It has to be one of those, but I also remember watching Return of the Living Dead as a kid in the mid 80's and that movie scared the crap out of me. Zombies have always been the scariest film monsters to me.

Thank you for your question. Yes I did. I haven’t rewatched in a while so dk if it holds up but I definitely liked either the movie or family memories it brought.

What were the 4 big screen adaptations? Have you read this book? What was the origin of the alien?

The Thing From Another World (1951); Horror Express (1972); The Thing (1982); and The Thing (2011). I have not read the book, but I was asked to help support a new upcoming expansion of The Thing, but I passed on it.
