One minute, you blood test Pace, and he's fine. Then 2x minutes later, he becomes a mutation. One thing that really befell this game was that in spite of the interesting dynamic of trust and intrigue determining who was human and who wasn't, it felt like every person you met would either die or mutate regardless, like it was all scripted to happen no matter how good you were at 'helping' your teammates. It'd be nice if the remastered version addresses this issue possibly, but I doubt it very much.

I doubt it to. It would change the game dynamic and certain ppl you need for certain parts then they die after lol. I remember the level with the bomb and you had to run to the elevator. I would always try and get everyone on but then they die anyway in the next level smh.

Really nice to see someone playing this still. I am a total fanboy of this game I loved every second of it and i played it immensely growing up, (about 4 or 5 complete playthroughs) it kills me to watch you struggle through areas just because you dont know how to manipulate the game but thats obviously not the experience the devs wanted. Theres so many secrets and ways to go about combat and dealing with certain members of youre team that save you immensely. Enjoyed watching while I wait for the remaster. Thanks for posting.

I got almost towards the end but the game has a game breaking bug where this survivor scientist dude didn't follow me into the next chapter and I couldn't continue the game.

If they want to make a proper horror game they should be using Unreal Engine 5, because this game is not like The Thing(1982) movie at all. Where is the deception in the characters to figure out who is the creature or not by testing their blood out. To make a proper remaster it should be on PS4 and PS5 with Unreal engine 5 as well.
