As someone who wasn’t sure about investing in this remaster as they own the original, this has solidified my choice to commit. Thank you 🙏

It’s a great way of revisiting it

Not in a million years would I have ever thought that this game would be remastered. This game was my very first horror game I ever got into and actually completed. I've already completed the remaster and I made a mini review on another review. I understand a lot of people are upset about the price of this remastered but I don't think I hated a single second of this remastered and getting to take my squad through a lot of the levels was a breath of fresh air. And it also made some of the combat sections just that much more enjoyable. I'm hoping night dive supports this game with new content because the only real fatal flaw this game has is that it has no replay value whatsoever to the regular person. I still own a mint copy of the PS2 version with manual and it will forever stay in my collection as one of the greatest PS2 games of all time🎉

I'm a big time Night Dive studios supporter because they consistently make high quality stuff and actually care.

They really do, System Shock was still wild to me

_"Locked, loaded, and ready to make shit dead."_ is a line that has stayed with me to this day, I'm not sure it will ever leave my brain.

I liked the one where he says John Carpenter is going to get a Suppository

I don't know about the game, but the Carpenter-film is one of my favorite movies of all time (in no small part due to its deliberate ambiguity)

I just recently viewed the game catalog of Night Dive on steam since im a big fan of their Turok and Shadowman Remasters and Doom64 and basically a big Night Dive fan in general I guess and I saw they are going to remaster this game and its already here. Never played the OG only saw speedruns here and there so looking forward to playing this myself sdoon

Could they not do anything with the audio during the remaster? I found the hard audio cuts of the background hum, the wind, the sirens, etc when moving around from room to room pretty distracting. I thought it was my setup at first but I can hear it in others videos. Of all the reviews I've seen no one is mentioning it.

When did they remaster this? And I remember that blood test being broken. I tested a survivor before a specific room, walked like 3 feet, and he changes. I think it was before the first boss of the game

Quite actually yesterday, good news that exact complaint was fixed along with many other dumb things the original game had. The flamethrower is actually a good weapon!
