This is super late, but the chaos blades are from when he made a deal with a God from his homeland in Greece. The Greek God of War, Ares. The blades both symbolizes his oath to the War God and his status of power. But, things went bad when Ares made it so Kratos killed his own family. So, he went and killed him. But, it turns out much more was going on amongst the Greek Gods and all of it had to do with using Kratos as a weapon. Suffice to say, Kratos and those blades have a VERY deep history.

The red storm is actually a side effect of Atreus falling ill, the director of the game said its “the world itself mourning the impending death of the young god, Atreus” or something like that

Danielle Bisutti deserves an award for her voice acting in this game. Freya has some of the most important lines in the game and she nails all of them.

Did you notice when Atreus got so angry he caught fire for a second? Then after Kratos beat up Thor’s son and just before he left Kratos caught fire for a second? 🤔
