I thought you’d have a different reaction when you first saw Hati and Skoll. Instead of staring at them for a second and say “what am I looking for?” No offense meant I was just disappointed by your reaction. I was in awe when I first saw them and even though they were sleeping I kept staring at them.

When you asked why the same knife can be in two different spots, in the first game, after Atreus broke his mother’s knife in a puzzle thing to save his father, Kratos presented Atreus with a knife he was saving for him. He said he made two knives, one for himself and one for his son.

Atreus can’t tell Kratos about Iron Wood because Odin has eyes everywhere and even in the realm between realms at Sindri’s house Odin would find out somehow if Atreus told Kratos about it. It’s not that he doesn’t trust Kratos with the secret.

FYI, all merchants sell travel packs…you passed it up three times in the merchants menu, then finally found it. No rich meat because you are rushing it and not taking time to hunt boars, fox, rabbits, raccoon’s and more turkeys. Its random, but you will get it. You can scan the woods and mark the animals, then shoot them. When fighting a machine, you can hit them anywhere anywhere and do it quickly until a white ring appears around the fire symbol. Then while the machine is on fire, target the weak points with regular arrows. Once the burning stops, repeat. You seem to get frustrated, like with Striders because you didn’t remember how to make them move…not the games fault. You did not focus on the side quests that give you more experience with the various machines. It seems you only wanted to do main story and that is great, but you shouldn’t complain when things get tough. I am not sure if this game is for you…it has one of the best story lines of any game, hope you realize it as you continue. The fox you tried to kill wasn’t bullsh.. you need to use heavy hits. You use light spear hits and the spear went over his head. Not bs but rather not knowing how to hunt. Again, rushing the game and not learning the basics. Good job though getting away from the shellwalkers…they can be tough until you know what to do. Thanks for hanging in there and figuring out some of the game. You are doing well, just give it a chance and don’t rush it.

I think, this intro is one of the hooks for a story I had seen in a videogame. So many questions and so much history being exposed in so little time.

The side quest with the annoying girl upgrades your spear, the only spear upgrade you get until the end of the game or the DLC. So, you should not have skipped that one

The realistic breathing animation/sounds of that deer make that a very uncomfortable scene to watch.

"There's not an ounce of gentleness" actually, compared to how he was in previous games, this Kratos is positively cuddly....and he definitely shows tenderness when handling his wife's body, and grief when gathering her ashes.
