I was meditating on this in the garden yesterday. No, the garden isn't overflowing in bounty but it's enough. @@RainCountryHomestead What brand/type of batteries went bad and after how long? What`s the suspected reason? I just bought a 300 ah Ampere Time LiFeP04 battery for emergency solar in my camper. Five year warranty. I`d like to build a system with the older style batteries too but I`m on a fixed income and simply can`t afford anything else more than a few hundred bucks and I`d have to save for months to have that much with my sister meddling in my business trying to stop me from prepping because I`m disabled and living on her lot.

That we know where they come from can be a handy thing, but it's Far More Important that The Words are in us, and come to mind when we need them. Chapter- and-verse markers were added many hundreds of years after the Scriptures were written, and help us to find passages, or to prove that the Scriptures in our hearts are indeed in the Bible, but it's the Words that matter in the end, eh? All great advice here. I would just like to add that when your body is falling apart and a host of other circumstances are happening, your faith is tested more than you can possibly foresee or imagine. So, be prepared for that. Walk by faith and not by sight ....Thank you for this video Heidi. =))

I learned this statement years ago and believe that it is so fitting for today. We can survive three months without companionship, we can survive three weeks without food, we can survive days without water, we can survive three hours without shelter in inclement weather, we can survive three minutes without oxygen, we can survive three seconds without hope. Hope in the Lord and His goodness is what gets me through the day. Everything can be taken from us. Growing our faith, community and hope will sustain us. God Bless You!

Even though we prepare best we can we must remember that God provided for the Jewish people for 40 years and so many could not appreciate what they saw and tested God and perished. God promises to provide for us as He does for every other living thing. Luke 12:16-34 KJV and beyond but you get the point🙏

Thank you Heidi this was an awesome word. I heard a video from Vicky Adkins last week titled “drink or play”. In it she shared what the Lord had given her regarding those who think we are going to raptured away from hard times. She referenced the scripture (can’t remember where) that talks about Jesus telling his disciples that the slave is not greater than the master along with the story about Jesus asking God to take this cup from me, but not his will but God’s will be done. In other words if Jesus couldn’t escape hardship we shouldn’t expect to either. Your videos are truer an inspiration for me. An excellent word! We are indeed called to be faithful stewards of all the Lord has given us. I praise Him for all of His marvelous care no matter what. He has NEVER failed me. We do have health insurance that although it's a cost we'd love to not have it has covered over a million dollars worth of hospital and doctor expenses for my husband without us having to pay anything out of pocket. Keep speaking the truth,. None of us have any idea what we might face . Our lives have drastically changed in the matter of seconds. Out trust must be in the One Who is able to take us through the flood the fire, the wind, the famine or anything else!

Thank you Heidi for this valuable information. God is here for ALL of us, we just have to ask. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to me after a near death accident that 7 years later I am still in recovery, BUT, in the medical community I am known as the "miracle patient" because no one thought I would survive. On my most challenging days I ask the Lord to help me and the rest of the day moves by with such ease that I forget how I had early struggled. I live in a constant state of gratitude. Even though I see double of everything, I can still see. Even though I often struggle to walk, I can walk, even though I have no short term memory, I now remember who I am and know those in who love me, etc... Every day is a blessings. I one the lottery, the lottery of life and that is the best lottery of all. God Bless and know that God always helps when asked.

You are so right Heidi. God expects us to watch and see the signs of the times and to prepare.....e.g. proverbs 31. There are so many different interpretations regarding the end time prophecies - pre-millenialists, post-millenialists, a-millenialists........well , I'm a pan-millenialist.....coz it will all pan out in the end!!! I'm in Springfield Oregon and it's August and cold! I lost half of my crops this spring due to that sudden spring cold snap. Everything else is stunted even my peppermint! I've also noticed on almost all my plants a strange speckling that is stunting growth. On my car in the morning will be an oil film and grains of powder that weren't there when I parked it. I agree with everything you said. I grew up in Wa out the valley. And we did help when there was a fire. No one was in need. We even donated a house for fire victim. My dad and uncles were on the fire department or volunteers. My dad donated part of our land for our firestation in the valley . I feel so alone in Oregon.

I like what your saying in this video. I water my many house plants with water which means going back and fourth across the house with 4 big jugs with good handles I can carry with two hands on many trips when I am well. I have saved up juice bottles from the past and I have them filled with water for when I am not well they are prefilled on a good day and placed in the two rooms that I water plants in so if I am too sick to go around with the four jugs up and down hallway and stairs I just used the jugs already filled in the rooms. This is how I manage to keep up with house plants when my health is up and down. There are many ways to have backups and a lot of it depends on how we set up our living. I live in city so I can't breath without house plants.

God will show us his ways if we pray he also wants us to do our part the Lord helps those who help their self. We need to seek him out in good times not just when we have hardships always been grateful for everything we have no matter if we don’t have everything great and wonderful we should be grateful we have a house to live in even though it’s not the fanciest and that we can breathe and walk and see that we can still function I feel like for myself for a lot of years we just don’t need all the things in this world it doesn’t really get me anywhere.
