Agreed! I am am convert to the Catholic faith from a Baptist background. The world needs more men like both these men. How refreshing to hear them be so respectful and loving, yet hold to their convictions. True examples.

Huge respect for this archbishop. He is a native Indian. I always listened to his homilies. I am in huge grief he wasn't given the red hat. As a native Indian American and a Capuchin he would have made a good Pope. the first from USA.

This is how Catholics and Protestants can respectfully converse on heavy topics. Thoroughly enjoying this.

@Albert Mohler Thank you for a great conversation! I grew up in Louisville attending Catholic School and Southeast Christian Church but now live in Colorado in the Diocese where Archbishop Chaput was previously assigned. This interview was a great intersection of these two places and my theological background. I'm currently in discussion with Pastor Nick Cady at White Fields Church in Longmont, CO who also did some of his academic work on theological methods and their impact on differing views regarding the perspicuity of Scripture. He too disagrees with the Catholic theological method and the study of it has made him more Protestant. Where might I find your academic works regarding Catholic and other theological methods?

Ratzinger as the right hand man of Pope JP2, saved the church in the late 1970s up to the 1990s. He anchored the tenets of faith. What must be believed and cannot be compromised.

Half the time went by and they didn't discuss the Archbishop' book. Towards the end they talk of liberalism, freedom, democracy and very little about religious and theology issues. Quite disappointing. The interviewer talked too much to show off his knowledge.

Archbishop Chaput might be a Catholic but he made some valid points in this conversation.

What a shame that Archbishop Chaput is now carrying out the work of the Devil by attacking His Holiness Pope Francis.
