The Bahrain vs Indonesia scandal was ridiculously immense, especially after that game. Recently, the Bahrain FA had even asked AFC for their return fixture against Indonesia scheduled in March 2025 to be held at the neutral venue instead of being held in Jakarta after Indonesian football fans roasted Bahrain players and officials so hard in social media. Bahrain knew that playing their return fixture at the neutral venue would guarantee their players' safety from that angered Indonesians. Despite of this, Bahrain were still feared about FIFA's disqualification warning should they refused to play against Indonesia away. As an Indonesian, that scandal, coupled with the fact we lost to China away, really hurt so hard. At least, we got 2 home games against Japan and Saudi Arabia. These games might be a mouth-watering ones, but I'm confident that we will qualify for the World Cup. At least, by the way of fourth round (finishing 3rd or 4th).
