This moment makes me really happy and very nostalgic… 14 years ago, back in 2009, while I was in middle school, I had just started getting into this new (to me) website called “KZbin”. Lol. While looking through videos, one was suggested to me next to the video I was watching (anyone remember THAT time of KZbin? Lol). A game called “Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door” by none other than “chuggaaconroy”. I was like “My friend had that game before, I’ll check it out.” He was in the late beginnings of the game. As soon as I heard the commentary and saw the gameplay, I was HOOKED. I went back to the first episode and watched until I was caught up. Every day I would wait in anticipation for his next video. Something about this guy made me want to watch more and more. Maybe it was being an impressionable teenager, but whatever it was I went back and watched most, if not all, of his previous let’s plays. I was never REALLY into video games. I loved Pokémon and had a Wii, but I never loved games outside of those. After watching chugga’s lets plays and seeing his enthusiasm for all the games, I started exploring other games. My favorite of those that I tried was Mother 3, and to this day, is one of my favorite games. The other thing that I got from him was the desire to 100% games. I’m currently going through my collection and 100% all my games. He also inspired me to try Let’s Playing myself. While it never went anywhere, I still hope someday I can do it as a side hobby. To this day, if I have nothing to watch, I’ll throw on one of chugga’s Let’s Plays to listen to in the background. Chuggaaconroy, through my various KZbin accounts, has been the one I have been subscribed to the longest. He has lasted through the highs and lows of KZbin, which just shows everyone how great he is. Thank you for all these years of entertainment and I hope to see many more years of your work!

Legit almost started crying during the direct when the TTYD intro started playing. One of my favorite games, and probably my favorite game as a child, is being remade and I could not be happier!

@@victorford5047 You have to think about if they'll continue the paper themed gimmick, the fact Modern PM acknowledges they're in a paper world, are made of paper and the really dumb restrictions on original characters. TOK did prove that Modern PM doesn't have to use Stickers or Cards.

Funny story: During the original direct, I left for a bit to go to the bathroom around this time, saying something like "There's probably not gonna be any huge announcements while I'm gone." Came back to my computer and proceeded to pop off seeing the TTYD remake.

Not even Emile could've predicted this. He's so giddy and joyful about this remake/remaster (can't really tell which one fits) that at around 2:00 he straight up says a joke in part five of Sticking it to Sticker Star may've aged poorly and that he'll probably need to alter the ending to the final part.
