I love how Mysterious Energy literally has the “under construction” style marker type caution tape stuff wrapped around it, because it’s still being implemented. That’s just a great touch. Plus it looks pretty silly.

Well I mean I know that it’s just a theory but a highly possible one because the whispers are ‘inviting’ and Charlie is attacking the moon as shown underground and she tries to kill you well her corrupted part so it makes sense that the moon would try to get them home. That or this ends in an infinite loop

i mean that'd make sense in a story mode BUUUT this is multiplayer so perhaps they could make a "Is story progression possible?" switch which allows you to change whether or not you can progress in this "story"

There is only a problem. To get in the epilogue we would need the Maxwell's door. Maybe, after some updates, it could be build after retrieving the blueprint from the distilled knowledge things, but then after defeating her corrupted part she maybe could be free from her curse and we could all fight Them (The Great Shadows), the true final boss. And after this all the characters could be free and they could return on the earth. Oh, THIS would be cool!

Mines don't get delleted that's really weird, maive if you're world is offline update the game cause to lost the game data on your pc but if you're world is online they get saved on the steam cloud

Seems like so long ago they introduced the Lunar island now... I burned myself out on Don't Starve back in the Reign of Giants days in 2014 being able to get to day 500 roughly, played a bit of Shipwrecked and Hamlet when those were fresh, but always saw DST as just RoG++. When the lunar island happened I wanted to find it, but man, I had to basically relearn how to play the game after so many years, and never actually found the island. I would watch The Beard's videos every update since and think I'd get around to all these updates at some point. Now here we are... Soooooo much stuff it's overwhelming and in terms of just the basics, I can barely get to the summer season now if at all :( Its sad that I probably will never come even remotely close this point of the game :'(

What if it is a boss fight between moon and Charlie starting at the strange energy, and how the fight is decided has the victor the new ruler of the constant replacing nightmare creatures with the moon creatures who drop moon rock instead of nightmare fuel with say the moon island replaced with a nightmare island with normal sanity on the nightmare island and the moon island sanity thing on the main island, or in other words Charlie and the moon swap places and can be swapped again by doing the fight again say with some kind of nightmare altars instead of moon altars giving access to new stuff

I’m not sure what you’re referring to by saying the lunar island can be found based on land looking like it’s a “puzzle piece”. Either I’m not seeing something obvious or the example photo isn’t applicable. The circles seem to highlight typical land generation with jagged edges and even if I could see the lunar island doesn’t look like a perfect fit.

there is so much that needs to be done to even get here it would be so devastating if you do all the steps and the distance is slightly to long and it wont activate that would ruin so so much time and i think that with all the involvement going into this the only way that id do it would be the result of a lot a lot of gameplay nonetheless are you going to stream a new world where you primally go for this objective because 1 id think you've lost your mind and 2 it would be very entertaining
