I and my friends saw Valerie, Fayette, and Shirley about 60 times in1967 and 1968, at the Echo Lounge and Blinstrub's in Boston. I was 23... I am now 76, and it seems the Three Degrees are still singing.... If this all was in Britain, they would have "Knighted" them, and had them at the Royal Albert Hall, for all be events. America needs to honor its legends., starting with TSOP !

Well... they were knocking them over in the 60s... They rocketed to fame in Boston in the summer of 1967.... filling in for the Supremes in Blinstrub's THE. biggest club in Boston. A one week gig morphed into a two month run and then they moved across town to the Brighton neighborhood, next to Cambridge, where they held forth for SIX MONTHS in the "Echo Lounge", and where I saw them 60 times.. (They were "The Celtics of Song Groups".... They owned Boston.!!!
