Knowledge is power and power can corrupt. I'm in a small circle with some powerful individuals as far all as of this knowledge. We were recently discussing how some people from that circle have went darkside.

Knowledge and understanding represent 2 different relationships to information. One resembles consumption while the latter, digestion. People often crave knowledge, consuming information out of a sense of pleasure, or worse, from ego. This is knowledge without understanding. Consumption without sufficient digestion. People can be gluttonous about information. But when one understands a thing, one has digested it; integrated it into his consciousness and placed it in proper relation to other understandings one has. One's consciousness becomes better formed from within, or in-formed, by new data. Only then is one ready for more, deeper information. Otherwise, gluttony, vanity or the craving for power is at work in you. So first chew and digest the morsel that's being given. It takes its own time. Too much too soon is never wise - for either the stomach or the soul. Seek to turn only the data given to knowledge and then to understanding. Wisdom comes from constantly repeating both stages of the in-forming process: knowledge then understanding; consumption and then digestion. Too much knowledge for its own sake is like binge eating.

I wasn't familiar with some of the words used in this monologue, but I may have grasped the point plus, I will do some personal study. I read the bible on a regular basis and one thing I observed about the life of Jesus Christ, he indirectly spoke to his audience. He always wanted his disciples or audience to benefit from critical thinking and that is a great example for us today. You get what I am saying. Great piece by the way. Anyway, I was in deep thought today and I was thinking how important it is to educate and understand our worth as human beings. Society tells us we need a certificate to enable us to get the best corporate jobs, only to experience how indebted we are to these institutions. Thank God I was smarter than that. I got the certificate without being indebted to the system and it took planning beforehand. Developing good habits and descipline are qualities that can help us escape traps like perks often associated corporate culture when we can build from the ground up and create our own empire. By the way this was a great video and thanks for the assignments you have given us. The only sage I knew before was an aromatic plant used to flavor certain meals. Lol

They are most certainly dumbing the population down, even the teachers are ignorant and just follow the curriculum and not teaching out of curiosity or for the love of it. For years at a time from grades 1 -5 its was american history repeating the same stuff all the time and the grades 6-12 about ww2, civil rights and some of the industrial revolution. The same things being taught year after year. So most of my classmates had/have no idea about any world history that's not pertained to America and they only went up to 70s. For the most part for some reason they refused to teach about other countries histories or even ancient history. Never even once taught about ww1, the plague, French revolution, etc... had to look it up on my own.

Im writing a book for young men based on wisdom my 8th grade teacher gave me concerning life and the power of the mind. She had told me that, " sometimes you need to close your eyes so that you can see." I had told a friend this while he was going through something and it helped him out. He had told me 3 years ago to write a book on it but it has taken that long to have all the pieces fall into place. Interestingly enough, what you will find is the excuse some people will make not to be like Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, etc peace be upon them, they will say oh they did all that so you dont have to... I find this especially with christians more so. Even though is Islam is a religion by tevhnicality, the arabic word used to describe it is Deen, which actually means way of life, so no where in the Quran (arabic) is Islam referrred to as a religion. I have also come to find out that mainstream religion work as a shell, exoteric. Things get deeperwhen one studies the minority sects and thoae who were deemed heretics, for example look into the stories of our sufis, I have a good book for you rom if youre interested. Deeper in the islamic traditions it speaks of a very small group of people that will turn the tide against corruption and tyrrany.
