@ChadAlanJones, Just curious but my cousin worked for corp of engineers here in Collin county before moving north. My understanding is they do not allow any type of trail cameras or feeding. Plus why bother knowing you can't hunt ? Now I can maybe see it after season starting late February wanting to keep track of when they have dropped antlers to shed hunt. I wouldn't mind being able to do that for sure because I do a lot of shed hunting on the corp land with my daughter and grandkids. Good way of getting them outside and in nature. Plus they like the $20 finders fee. LOL. But it is as far as I know illegal and they will confiscate your cameras and give a ticket. As far as the draw hunts here it will never happen. Just not enough patrol for them to keep it honest and record all the data needed so not to harm the herds. If folks would just do it correctly then maybe . I for one would like to see some young hunters have the opportunity on some guided hunts by the corp in Collin County. Maybe youngsters that are on the wrong path in life. Anyway good podcast and really enjoyed it. I have heard Chad is an honest person in and outta the woods. It is sad that people judge people without knowing them. Most are simply just jealousy. Collin County leases are extremely hard to come by that actually have deer. Be aware those who look for them because there are a group of Pakistani's that own a lot of land around here charging large amounts for crap property. Looks good from pictures but they're pulled off the internet. I found out because they actually were using a few of my pictures and a buddy saw it. I confronted them and they disappeared for a while but they're back at it.

Y would you even mount a high fence deer on your wall????? Wt do u say when someone comes over and ask about it????? Do u lie ? Or do u put ur head down in shame and say high fence???? Just wondering?

The high fence deer that I shot were paid for by a client that took me on the hunts and they paid for the mounts. When people ask I tell them they were high fence but I obviously don't post or brag about them...but that's just me!

I actually have alot of public land kills but I didn't pay to mount most of them because they are all 120 to 130 class deer.
