Here I am, a grown man in my 60s, and BB King singing that song brings the tears to my eyes.....that voice. So much history and soul in that voice. The history of this country, the history of his people, the history of music. The man is and probably always will be the blues personified. And he always kept it real...in his music and in his character.

First concert at 12 years old...a little ol white kid from Southeast Massachusetts..a cold February night in Providence my father at that point decided in the best way possible, it was time for me to become culturally appropriated...and shove greatness in my young sponge brain... he dragged me to Providence Preforming Arts Center for B.B King and Buddy Guy....rest is history. For those with teenage kids..bring them to live music.....it's the only way to save humanity

While I agree Richie Sambora is an outstanding guitar player, it's the greatness, and most of all BB King's warm humbleness that strikes me the most. I'd truly would've loved to meet this man and shake his hand. RIP BB King, your guitar has a sound that even if you heard just one chord we'd know it was you... You're the blues master.

Right on. I was blessed enough to be able to see him twice in concert. Somehow I managed to work my way down to the stage. I was star-struck and without even realizing it, I exclaimed, “I love you BB!!!”… he paused, looked at me and said “I love you too, baby”. SHEER AWESOMENESS!!! I wish I could attach an up-close pic I took of him that night.

Nice vibes between Richie and BB. Both guys appear to have alot of respect for each other both musically and personally which is why they sounded so damn good. BB"s voice was still strong and growling with soul. RIP Mr. King , you are sorely missed.

This vid made me smile. Thank you for uploading it. Mr. King is a legend that was so generous of spirit and with his time. Not only with his audience, but, other musicians. He is responsible for me loving the blues. And guys like Clapton, Bonamassa , Johnson and others keet that love alive to this day. Sambora is awesome as well.
