They are all amazing, but lets consider for a moment everything Matt was doing. He was: Keeping track of the central throughline story, playing clarota, playing lady kima, playing grog, keeping track of damage and dice for like 20 Duergars, the king, the queen, another mindflay, plus making up dialogue and color commentary for ALL of them on every attack, helping and instructing all the adventurers with what and how many etc dice they needed etc, all while anywhere from 1 to 7 of them are hurling questions at him, adjusting and revealing the map, considering at every move how and IF the actions can take place. All on a incredibly compelling story that HE wrote. I mean, holy cow! That was just incredible. Plus, its worth mentioning he started out the 4 hour session saying it had already been a long day. Thats some amazing DMing.

Through all the episodes I’m watching through, this is the first one you can clearly see Matt’s patience wearing thin between both the shenanigans, the ooc behaviors, and the minimal player accountability where skills/spell order/actions and logistics are concerned. laura was driving me nuts in this one, like how she kept repeating "we should all go to the second floor now," when everyone said lets finish this floor first, and so she said it again two more times and was like "i'm gonna take everyone and move up the staircase now," and immediately after she does that they discover the magic lab with the mage and she has to come all the way back down. it's the same thing as when her and keylith decided even though the party voted against something they were just gonna do it anyways. i think matt really gets annoyed at how she only remembers hunters mark after she already attacked, every single time. for such a smart person she really makes dumb decisions a lot!

actually no , grog is a path of beserker barbarian so he cant be charmed while rage like the queen did to him, sneak atack dont need to be close to do with alies with 5 feets of a enemy(but in pathfinder is so i undestand the error), and evasion is to every dex save ( but vax error that dont read his skills ) ,and with this changes the queen probably will be death and not carry grog with her, but matt's still a great DM

C2 is definitely a bit more 'edgy' but I think it was their attempt to tell a more serious story vs. a roaming band of goofballs (which they still are). I LOVED C2, and IMO each campaign should feel different from the last.. and I think they pull it off spectacularly.

something to note. while npcs are usually very annoying to play with, matt uses kima rushing in to explore as a way to speed up the steath mission as non stealth players were clearly unhappy with having to wait for who knows how long. i think this was a really good way to advance the story without forcing much. the players dont have to chase after her or start combat they still coulda waited but by adding this sense of urgency it gets everyone into the game quicker.

I think One of the most impressive things that Matt does to me, (as a newer DM) is how well he handles a large group. Now it partially comes down to how they fill different roles making it somewhat easier on him. But just doing 5 to 6 players can be tough for a normal DM let alone 7 to 8 for multiple hours.
