yea. they are beatable, but such a massive pain in the arse. waffentragers are scary but ultimately not that hard to deal with. T54 too, because the fucking armour, it is the only medium that red spots 200mm+ pen guns even if they are firing down on them, not even IS-3s do that.

Look what the Kuro Mori Mine did for the Tiger I. Imagine a Girls Und Panzer version of the Tiger (P), without the top 8,8 cm L/71 gun and top engine, but at Tier 6. That would be fun! Tier 5's would have a job penning its frontal armour unless they hit the weak spots, and there wouldn't be any Tier 8's to worry about.

The one thing i hate facing face to face on in tier 7, AND tier 8, is the is3 Defender. I hate that thing. I personally think it needs a nerf. No capolas... No weak under golaisus, good angling, and an auto loading 122 mm gun, and I come across platoons of them spamming HEAT. It's like the WT E100, (before the grille was introduced at tier X) except with waaaaay more armor. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is trying to pen it with the usual 75-85 mm guns tier sevens get. The only way you'll be able to pen is by reaching to your pocket to fire prem. Ammo. And sometimes that doesn't even work.

The fact is the balance of the game depends on all the tanks that can be on the battlefield and let's face it if everyone played the same tanks it would get boring pretty quickly. i haven't played the big girl in the new era of "IS" but i had a lot of success brawling in tight quarters and "frontscraping" with that 200mm plate on the nose.if you get a few shots in front scrape peakabooming then push in and brawl while keeping mobile, side to side front and back, you can easily panic the opponent into missing the weak targets on the turret and hull-front.

I enjoyed this tank when I bought it back to go to the maus line. Aced it twice and got a pretty decent wr in it. I also got in a 1 v 1 face hug battle with a full health IS6 and I lost because of his 20 extra hp. I would've won if he didn't have that 20 more hit point pool (IS6 has 1470hp while Tiger P has 1450hp) than me.

what i have found works well is that don't angle the tank very much because the hull shoulders are very weak at only 80mm. cut around corners with your very thick frontal armor.

I think the tiger p is a ok tank, the 2 tanks following ( vk45.02 a/b) are really good and I got the maus but I think the maus deseve a buff. Everyone is shooting apcr or heat, you are too slow to keep up with the others when they all go the medium place. Also they will just rush you but at least I dont like it...

If you platoon with highter tier you will play with tiers really often (like when you are tier 6 you platoon with tier 7 you can often play with tier 8)

not the best tank in the world, but can does its job pretty well. the biggest drawback for me is lack of gun depression. very similar to KV4, keep wiggling all the time and u will see a lot of bounces.

Tiger P! What happened to you?!!! When I first played this tank, back in the year 2010, this was the absolute best tank I ever had. -Even better than the Maus Simply angleing the front armor, on any corner, it would bounce all bullets. It was an absolute joy to drive this tank; ricochet all and any incoming enemy fire; as a result, spot the enemy tanks and just troll them with the angled front armor. Yup, it was a troll of a tank.

What Tier 7 tank would you recommend for an beginner/intermediate player with 679 battles under my belt? I have researched all of the tier 6 modules on the German and Russian lines and I'm saving up XP and credits to research and buy my first tier 7 tank. I also have the money to buy a premium tier 7 if that's the best option for me. With my style of play, I perform best in tier 5 and 6 heavies and some mediums, but I really can't stand slow tanks with terrible mobility and super slow reload times. I guess I don't have the patience or skill to deal with over 10 second reload times and I also don't enjoy that slow style of play, but at the same time I struggle in fast weakly armored tanks. That's probably why I have done the best in the T14 despite its weak pen gun. My best stats as far as win % and damage dished out is in tier 5 T14 premium and KV1 and tier 6 KV1S. I have 83 battles in T14 with 51% win % and 39 battles in KV1S with 62% win % and 40 battles in the KV1 with a 45% win %. The KV1S is also ranked #1 for XP earned, followed by the T14. I do not use the big Tier VII gun on the KV1S with an 18.71 second reload time because I don't have the skill or patience to wait that long. Surprisingly considering its weak pen gun, the T14 is ranked #1 for damage given just behind the KV1. I researched the Tiger P and was getting ready to buy it before watching this review, but now I'm second guessing and considering the IS or something else entirely. What do you recommend for tier 7 tank that would fit my skill level and play style that is somewhat similar to strengths of KV1S with the IV gun and the T14?

M3 lee have a stupid non-functional wedding cake turret on top of its hull, it will be penned by people the moment you try to peek a hill top, guess what, your gun is on your lower right side of the hull. The gun on the right side physically cannot peek a right corner. Every single game in the m3 lee is as following: you are spotted, enemies directly on your 3 / 9 o'clock direction, bang one hit. You start turning to face your enemies, if you are not tracked a this point, your first shot will bank 20 meters in front of your target and hit a rock, bang second hit, half health. Your second shot will finally hit, and if God allows it, it will pen and do 130 damage, bang third shot. Your dead.

Whats wrong with tiger P? Its an armored heavy with a good gun. I do not get it. Sure its slow, but lots of heavies are slow.

It's got gigantic weakspots-- the actual armored part is only two thin stripes on the front. Otherwise, it can get easily penned on its hull cheeks, lower front glacis, or commander's copula... heck, there's even a thinner part on the middle of its gun mantlet, on either side of the gun, that can actually get penned. And that's just from the front. Side or rear? No dice, lol. Its gun is also the worst among all the tanks that share the same gun. If you don't believe me, look it up on the tank-compare on blitzstar. Tiger P's 8.8cm KwK 43/L71 has lowest DPM, RoF, and maybe even aim time and dispersion on the move, among all the tanks using the very same gun. I still love the tank though. x]
