The music industry will be just fine. TikTok isn't some monolith that can never be replaced. If it goes down, a dozen apps will pop up ready to be the next TikTok and provide the same features and services.

Yeah, we lost Musically and Vine and both if those had music features as well! TikTok just felt like such a giant in the space, like imagine if IG randomly shut down :/ Thank you for ur comment

Only industry in music that is gonna feel this ban the most is the American music industry because there are not many new artists in America who can actually sell albums or sell tickets because they simply are not good rappers or vocalists and no one taught them how to be good performers. Meanwhile the Asian music industry will flourish even more because they have the artists and groups that can sell albums and tickets because they train people for years before they make their debut as an artist and have been doing that for decades now. BTS and BLACKPINK were just the beginning of the Asian invasion and the only western/American artists that will be okay are the artists who are known for their amazing live shows and/or actually put real effort into their music.
