I was sent a fully disassembled Marui MP5 in a plastic suitcase once. Everything was there, so I rebuilt it. Then the owner used it once and proceeded to SIT ON IT, cracking it in half. We sourced another Marui MP5 and I made one with the two. I really hope it doesn't ever come back :D

Blow the gearbox what spring where they running 😵. I've just spent several months after a lot off issue with a m160 motor that from box had a short issue 😡 really really peeeeeeeeeeed. 😃😄😁😆😅5 Smiles. i just had my m15a4 classic army built by my local shop, same lower just like this. The guy couldnt drop in a new gearbox because the reciever would require milling so he built the CA gearbox, tried a few different hop ups and it didnt work had to use the stock. I still have the stock spring and motor should i replace those? gun shoots 315 far out with .28

If you have loads of nimh batteries and build the gun around that it's perfect.

The one advantage of lipo is higher current in a (generally) smaller package. BUT, if you have a nimh that meets the STALL (ie the start-up), current requirements of your motor. (and good luck finding out what that is for a particular motor...), there's no advantage. If you nimh doesn't meet the stall current requirements of the motor, all you loose is a few MICROSECONDS on trigger response as the motor spins up a TINY bit slower.. Disadvantage of Lipo...all the usual ones and all based around safety; don't over draw, don't over discharge, store at a storage voltage, etc etc. Nimh advantages? charge it, use it, put it away and don't worry about it. Lipo is way over-rated.
