Maybe not the best place to ask, but it's driving me crazy. I have a Specna Core AR, brand new 18:1 gears, stock motor. Tried to shim it, almost no if any movement side to side, all gears spinning freely as they wish, enough space between the gear faces so they are not rubbing on each other. But after greasing it and putting it together it sounds like a freaking blender. Tried multiple different methods of shimming but to no avail. If anyone has any advice, I'll be thankful.

Hey I know you said in a previous video that you dont fitting Gate titans but I’ve seen you services some guns with them install and I was wondering what grease/lube do you use bc I don’t want to mess up the sensor if I don’t put the right grease on I also have an APS and when I put the gate I’m also replacing everything but the motor and the gears. I’m also using mostly maxx products besides the cylinder and the piston which is an angel custom I would really appreciate the help

Hey man, my G&G raider is in pieces at the moment. Went for a shim (fresh out the box) and I stripped the screw holding the grip to the gearbox. What should I do? Destroy the handle and tap the screw or is there a better way? Im looking forward to your informative vids in the future.

Should be able to drill out the stripped screw and then use the opposite mounting holes on the handle/gearbox

@@ivanmonahhov2314 mine was the WE Masada Luke got it working fine gearbox was Sharpe AF shooting Bang on 320 every shot until he reassembled the gun and then it would drop down to like 120 every time he spent days trying to figure it out ended up getting warrantied and I got a gbbr g36 instead

Thats what Im sayin I keep hearin everyone hating on them. Im in the process of a build on mine (13:1 gears etc) And drove 2 hours to amped airsoft to get some advice and the dude straight up told me its not even worth upgrading because its a lancer. I was very confused considering I had just watched a vid where they took the exact gun and built it to 32rps no problems. Its an lt-25 gen 2 btw. I mean gen 2 gear box quick change spring fully uprgadeable and for 140 bucks Im not complaining. I just dont see the issue.

Lancer Tactical has little to no quality control, and use the cheapest materials they can find. They are basically one step above what you used to find at Walmart or Dick's Sporting Goods... which is not good, to say the least.

There probably enough techs in Minnesota to count on one hand, and none of them are competent enough to accept jobs that are not Ar-15 (v2) platform. So your videos are gold for me since I'm forced to do my own work. But my Achilles heel is compression. And I have an aeg that has pretty much none, and the person I took the job from used fucking olive oil as a lubricant and its fucking nasty in there. Do you know what bad olive oil and iron shavings smell like? And do you have any tips for choosing nozzles. Basic performance currently 180-92 fps with .20g bbs 480mm 6.03mm inner 12 rps M135 spring Everything sinks metaphorically and physically Also it's the Ares Otto repa soc ar. Mostly proprietary shapes but all upgrade components are tm compatible, save the Piston head and outer barrel

If you have not been able to remove the olive oil yet, pick up some Simple Green heavy duty concentrate. The stuff is actually purple, but you just overnight soak the parts in there, give them a gentle scrub with an old toothbrush, and they will be right as rain. 😄👍
