What a loss, my wife and I live in Australia but we were lucky enough to see her sing several times when we visited Nashville. We agree with the other posts here, the best country voice we have heard.

Experiencing Dawn Sears sing live a handful of times is honestly one of the greatest music listening experiences I've had in life. Sitting at her feet at the Station Inn, and hearing her pure acoustic voice straight from her mouth to my ear, as well as the bleed over from the PA and monitors was an amazing experience. It literally was experiencing pure excellence in the moment. I'll never forget it, and always treasure that. Dawn Sears is literally the best singer I have ever heard in person.

It was on the top of my Bucket List. . .To be taken to The Bluegrass Underground" and hear the Marvelous Dawn Sears sing in person! I remember the first time I heard this beautiful women sing. . . I had goosebumps and thought, Where have You been? She had the most beautuful voice! Many didn#t know her AND Should have! Yet if you heard her. . .You remembered her AND Never forgot her! She sang like an Angel on Earth! I wish I could have fullfilled that Desire in My Heart to go see her perform. . .but I became very ill andwhen I was able to go . . .She became ill and returned to her natural home. She left a void in the music world but our loss IS Heavens gain! Fly high , You Beautiful song Bird ! What a Beautiful Tribute to a Wonderful Gift. . .while we were blessed to have her. Dawn left her mark. I never grow weary of listening to her beautiful voice. So effortless She Sang!❤💕💕

Nashville destroyed Country Music in the eighties, Dawn and so many Traditional artists were thrown under the bus. Only the real true fans remember the real stars of those years. Nashville gave us 'New Country ' now this Pretty Boy/Girl Pop Music with a Fiddle or a Steel thrown in the middle for effect.

I saw & heard her the first time in about 1992, I was at a concert in Orlando Florida, she was singing tenor for Vince Gill. The first thing I noticed was her powerful & soulful voice as she harmonized with Vince. He introduced her by name, and I never forget that name. R.I.P. Dawn, you'll always be remembered as a true vocal talent.

One of the most memorable vocal performers I've ever seen. A few years ago, I was privileged to spend a Monday night at the Station Inn with my feet almost resting on the stage. Everyone in the band was phenomenal, but, even in that group of musical Olympians, for me, Dawn won the Gold Medal. Big hole in Nashville...

My... I've only just discovered in the last two years or since 2022 Down Sears and the time jumpers ever existed. WOW!!! Is all I can say!!! Dawn was absolutely she amazing she had a voice second to none and all of the musicians backing her up the best in the busses. What I liked best was and is how they keep the music traditional. How wonderful they all came together, better than any thing I have heard.

i had the privilege of listening to vince gill at the niagara falls casino. during the show he did key of life for his dad. he had a hard time finishing and the tears started. dawn sears was the background singer and she carried him for a couple of songs so he could compose himself. i didn't know of dawn at the time but i remember thinking holy cow this lady can sing.

Today 5/1/2022 is the first time I have ever heard Dawn Sears sing and I am absolutely taken by Dawn's voice singing "Sweet Memories" then to find this video saying Dawn had passed makes me so sad listening to the band members giving there thoughts. Can not understand how Dawn was not a household name, surely should have been thats for sure. I love this band of singers / musicians so much talent in there could listen all day long to them, love real Country / bluegrass for years songs and words that tell us how real life is sometimes hard but true ... regards from England.
