Oh God! What a voice! To think that she sang this while suffering from lung cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. What a loss. Dawn Sears just owns this song. She was one of the top female country singers of all time and most folks have never heard of her. Their loss. Thank you Time Jumpers and Vince Gill for giving her the opportunity to enrich our lives.

+James Sterling James you are so right. I am one of those folks. found her 3 weeks ago, lost her last week. was going to go see her. devastated. Why has this voice and this person been hidden. All the awards shows going back into the 90s , never heard her. It makes me angry. I would have went to see her. She has command of the song. She makes one feel like she is singing directly to you. Not many singers do this. Kinda strange , that she was never known more.

It's politics. It's in everything really. Music too. I have heard some pretty crappy singers that are under contract and made to be stars. Been playing/singing music for 27 yrs and I've heard and played with some fantastic singers/players no one will ever know of. Dawn Sears was incredibly good and I'm glad that she got the chance to shine.

Hi Paul just wanted to say a big thank you for putting both of the songs on from the 23rd June 2014. My husband and I had the great privilege of also being at 3rd and Lindsey on that night. We were on holiday in Nashville from the UK to celebrate my birthday (24th). I am such a fan of The Time Jumpers and this wonderful artist. Dawn just has one of those voices that makes you glad you are alive and can hear her beautiful voice. I could not believe how lucky we were when she walked out on stage that night, she received at least 2 standing ovations that night as I recall and it is a night we will never, never forget. Thank you once again, love and light

I just played this again. I don't know how many times that is..... I just know I can't believe she's gone home. I play her videos over and over like maybe I'm trying to convince myself it's not true. But it is.... and her family and her friends and fans of her music now must realize that there is an empty place that no one could ever fill. No one can ever replace her or fill the void in the lives of all who knew and loved her as family or friend or fans of her music. But she no longer has cancer and the pain that caused..... because my Lord and Savior took that all away. Rest in piece dear lady..... I will miss you.....

Kenny, I know your heart is broke! We miss her so much as a person and as a singer even more. I have been in the music business for some 40 plus years and I use to watch her coming up and wondered if Nashville would ever wake up. Her voice was as pitch perfect as the meter could record and her smile was even better. I think about you and her almost everyday. When I sit down to play steel, this is the first song that gets played. She sang volumes and your playing is only the best. I have been watching both of you for years. Gimble told me years ago that you were the best in his world, May God look over you and your Daughter and keep that fiddle playing. Dawn, RIP.... We miss you
