A brilliant video, thank you. HG Well’s was well before his (dare I say it) time. The Time Machine is a brilliant story. Even today we are losing the skills that were passed through generations. We are being led by the elite.

It's truly astounding how prescient these narratives are today, isn't it? Well past their last breath & the words of H.G. Wells, Aldous Huxley, & Orson Wells have never been more relevant!

Thank you for your kind words and well wishes. It's a shared hope that the world, in its cyclical patterns of growth and decay, will indeed renew itself as nature often does. Perhaps, as you say, change will come as we collectively embrace the fecundity of new ideas and perspectives. Here's to navigating the present with care and hope for a future shaped by both wisdom from the past and the courage to innovate.

Beatiful, well done - and of course a story that is very good. I'm impressed! It would be very interesting to lern more how you que / give leads / to AI to make something like this!? Lately I've also been thinking about whether AI could be used for rough storyboarding in some way. Would it be economical? As I worked as a film producer for a few years, selling the idea and storyline, I sometimes wanted a not so detailed, yet visual way, to convey what the plan was. As it were, the process relied entirely on my verbal skills, and some people need a bit of visual coaxing also. At the same time, one doesn't want to lock down / fix / expectations too much. Film making should be a process, where the end result is somewhat of a surprise.

I'm elated to hear you enjoyed the film! My personal animation workflow includes several AI tools that you can go try out for yourself if you'd like. It's relatively easy to learn so I encourage you to go try a few out. My preferred tools include: Leonardo.ai Kling.ai Claude Sonnet 3.5 Udio ElevenLabs Luma Labs Dream Machine RunwayML At some point, I might do some how-to videos but that'll be after my channel grows enough to become my full-time job which is still probably between a few months to a year out. Although, you can help me get there by Subscribing! 😁

interesting to see that the Time Traveller's first priority when he went on his journey was to take a selection of hats with him. When he started on his journey he was wearing a shiny black top hat but by the time he arrived had donned a shiny brown top hat with a black band which he swiftly discarded in favour of a grey homburg. Then he had changed back to his brown topper just in time to meet the Eloi which he then laid aside until near the end of his adventure where he briefly assumed a black top hat with a brown band before swiftly changing back into his brown topper which he wore for the return journey until finally changing back into his shiny black top with the brown band. I notice he also had at least two jackets. One blue and one brown.

Surely you don't expect a man-about-town in the Victorian era to limit himself to a single ensemble? This was, after all, a period that witnessed the grand renaissance of men's sartorial elegance! Why, Charles Baudelaire himself would be positively aghast at the suggestion of such stringent adherence to one particular style of chapeau. The man had options, as any gentleman of stature in that time would have!

I'm with you there lol You bring up a good point though. The limitations right now are still very noticeable & even immersion breaking in some cases but I do hope that I'm doing an effective enough job at telling a good story that the audience will forgive the current limitations. After all, those limitations are likely only temporary & as the technology matures good story telling will become even more important to differentiate one creator's work over another.

It isn’t polished yet. Faces and people are a lost cause for AI to simulate for now. But I won't nitpick. I will instead say that the tech has come strikingly far just since 2021 and that I look forward to your potential distribution deal when the feature-length version is finished in about five years. (And the ending montage of this demo was already overwhelming! )
@Bytesized_Stories_AIАй бұрын
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! I appreciate your perspective on AI's progress. Though you might consider how Hollywood CGI still has plenty of room for improvement as well even with massive budgets (Their's = $200 million+ & tens of thousands of human hours of labor, Mine = ~$250/mo plus 40-80 hours of my time for a 10-minute film) AI seems to be making strides in creating more naturally integrated characters. And let's not forget the uncanny valley with some of those resurrected Star Wars characters! I'm flattered you see distribution potential here. As for your 5-year timeline, I'll take that bet and raise you - I wager we might see feature-length AI films even sooner. Maybe in just 2 years? The tech is moving incredibly fast. Either way, it's an exciting time to be working in this space. Thanks again for your encouraging words and thoughtful critique!

Appreciate the thought but I'm a one man show operating on a part-time bartender's budget. Voiceover work takes a lot of time, paid actors, scheduling, & recording equipment. It's not feasible right now but if my work gets the appreciation it deserves then perhaps at some point in the future I'd love to utilize more live talent. That being said, I've graduated from stock AI voices to creating my own through ElevenLabs so over the past few films & going forward they won't be nearly as recognizable or genetic. "The Time Machine" was the last one I made using only the small selection of voices on Runway. Everything since then is much more diverse in character voiceover use. Much appreciated 🤙

@Bytesized_Stories_AIАй бұрын
Thank you for the feedback & I appreciate you giving it a valiant effort! The continuity shifts can be jarring at first, I do agree! Yet, I've been working with these tools for so long now that I've come to find it more as a feature than a bug. In the interim period where artifact consistency isn't perfect, I'm trying to at least dial in the flow & motion of each story. I also find it useful to stick with stories that have a psychological or psychedelic element to them which I feel plays into the limitations of the medium as it stands, currently. In the long term, there is no question that these issues will be fixed. At that point, I might even find myself missing the shifts in character & scene that I've become acquainted with in AI filmmaking. Though, I'm sure the average person will appreciate a more solid state of continuity. Thanks again for checking out "The Time Machine" & maybe come back & check out "Here There Be Monsters" which should be ready to launch within the next 2 or 3 days!

In the short time that is allotted to each and everyone there are those that want to live forever and cannot grasp the idea that Thay are not unique and will crumble like the very ground they stand on......their problem is they cannot conceive the reality that time is not finite, and they are not infinite with the prospect of becoming the dust from which they originated.
