Lilly, you have quickly become my favorite youtuber/vlogger, and person in general honestly. I love your vlogs so much though, 'cause while most vloggers do get personal. They also still talk to the audience as if they're just an audience, esp. if their vlogs are simply a side thing to a video game or skit channel. I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience in NY :( I live there and sometimes I feel the same way. Once I was in Times Square (at night) and I was heading to the train and as I was getting to it a couple who was fighting were literally HITTING each other. Like the guys punched the girl so hard she fell and I was so shocked I froze. After that she got up and continued fighting him and following him and I just though she was really stupid .

I go to New york every year and couple things i'd like to tell you: 1) The life is so fast paced and extreme, it seems like everyone is angry and sick of life. 2) As for those "impersonators", they are usually assholes. They are the equivalent of a trashy stripper. How? They just want to hustle you and if they don't get money, they disrespect you like the trashy kind of people that they are. That's why the mayor wants to ban them, not because of those women that are topless but because of things like you just described. It's not fair to assume and group all of New Yorkers in one big group because I've met many amazing peoples in NY but sadly, I feel most people just seem like they are unhappy and Times Square is just one big tourist headache. It's nice the first couple times but that's about it.

The workers at JFK can be phenomenally rude. It's even worse at Laguardia Airport (if you can believe it). I am a native NYer and I literally help out everyone who needs help and I think NYers are some of the kindest people.
