I feel like this is how they would set up temporary parks for like carnivals or random events and they would have posters showing what selected dinosaurs would be there, its a cool concept if the buildings were like built in a way where they could be portable.

@reiangossling63952 жыл бұрын
I did a 6x6 mini park as a DFW outpost with Nasutoceratops, Carnotaurus, Pteranodon and compies on the Canadian map a while back. The role-playing aspect of imagining it as a base for dinosaurs to be relocated elsewhere was a lot of fun and I made sure to include the ranger teams/paleo-medical center to lean into it. I recommend it a lot for anyone that wants to build their own DFW outpost.

A tip for herb enclosures that have bordering fences. If you have extra space in one and the other doesn't have enough plants, replace the bordering fence with a bunch of the smallest rocks and then put whatever they need outside the rocks. They count it as their territory and it works
@bromigo232 жыл бұрын
If you put the ranger posts in the exhibits and assign the med unit, rangers and capture teams to them, they will take care of all of your scanning/dinosaurs fighting problems. The med units will scan automatically and treat the illnesses in the exhibits for you. You just need to worry about transporting if the illness or injury is more serious. Really helps take care of things for you in the background. Also the capture teams will tranq the Dino’s if they begin to start fighting. Love your vids btw!

The best dinosaur to use for space + appeal rating is the suchomimus, which you can even combine with the baryonyx and the compsognathus (they don't fight and neither of them increases the cohibitation of the other) Also the reason why dinosaurs fight while they are at 100% is because of their dominance, if the leader of the group has lower dominance than the other, they will fight until the higher dominance becomes the leader.

They will partol the enclosures and treat diseases automatically. Best update since the decorations! It is a life-saver for both the dinos and us players. Love it so, so much. And of course congrats on 100k, you deserve it! ❤

Hi Evo. I sent you a custom map a while ago which was this challenge, though I had the island surrounded by water (inspired by your tiny islands from JWE1). As you seen it's possible to get the park to five stars with all the stuff turned on, but it's certainly a challenge! I forgot how long it took me to get my one to five stars, but I was really pleased with the results. Also, yes, I agree it's dumb that forest is its own thing and that the tall nuts, leaves and trees don't count.

I was surprised you didn’t figure out compatibility yet. Basically for herbivore the ornithopods and parasaur will get along with anything. Then the armored herbivores don’t get along with each other so it best to go with one per exhibit. Then you can pick one sauropod and you good. Basically one sauropod species, one armored herbivore, and then anything else you want too add.

well, maybe I should provide a non-sarcastic comment: I don't know if you knew, but you can assign your MVU to a ranger post inside the enclosure so you don;t have to manually perform medical checks; what's best is that when a dinosaur gets sick or injured the dispatch of the MVU is automatic

Heheee, you spend time away from JWE2 and you very nearly have a car crash! It worked out in the end though, so full props to you for that. Are you starting to wonder what more you can do in this game? With one more possible DLC left on the horizon, you have to think that modded parks after they declare 'end of life' will be the future. A wholesale move to PK may be premature that's for sure though. Prehistoric Planet may do more for future dinosaur gaming than Dominon might, we will just have to see. If you hit 100K on Saturday, would you do a 12hr stream on Sunday or wait a week!?
