Just outside the city walls of Tomar, the last Portugese town to be commissioned for construction by the Knights Templar, lies a tiny church with a surprisingly important connection to this once mysterious and secretive religious organisation.

Iberian history in general. There wouldnt be a Portugal without the Reconquista. As a Spaniard of Galician heritage. Today I'm Christian and speak Castilian aka Spanish instead of Arabic praying to Allah 20 times a day thanks to Visigothic Nobleman Don Pelayo. Valiant warrior King of the North. King of Asturias. Crowned KIng by the loyal men who fought alongside him. Seeder of the Reconquista, and their descendants who continued forming small Christian Kingdoms in the North, fighting and resisting for 700 years. Generation to generation ( instead of running away into France) slowly expanding until the whole of Iberia was free of the peaceful messengers of islam in 1492AD when the remaining Christian Kingdoms united to become Spain. ( Except for the Kingdom of Portugal because they're special but I still love them) Today the gates of Toledo have once again been opened into Europa and the West. *Reconquista II Intensifies*

Portugal's history is incredible when considering its small population. They've created the global world we live in today (with the discovery of sea routes that linked all continents for the first time). Without a doubt the templars played a role in this. To venture on uncharted open Ocean you had to be "crazy" or incredibly driven by religion.

Very easy: from the visit of Prince Lalibela of Ethiopia to Jerusalem, bringing news of an Arca in Axum, beyond the Muslim lands, but not inaccessible: there's a report in the Old Testament, iirc in Solomon's time, of a circumnavigation.

No, the woman is important because one has to balance themselves with the opposite. So one goes within and couples with the divine to raise one's frequency--Golden Mean and get raised up a true son or daughter within. Mary Magdalene was Jesus' equal in the Christ and Tomar is really Tamar their daughte. However it is the spiritual self that is important that you work toward raising the seed in well tilled earth - so that you become initiated and regenerated.

They didn't go to the Temple to "Worship the ancestors". That is what Pagans do. They went there as a symbolic act. Jesus Christ descended into the bowels of the earth, to rescue those that were imprisoned there. The Templars go underground as a symbolic act to rescue and defend those in Darkness, and bring them out into the Light of Christ. This is the hidden agenda, simply this, to Lead those in Darkness to the True Light of Jesus Christ, to show people the Path to Salvation, and to Defend those who seek to Worship God. There are, however, Dark Templars who seek to corrupt the Truth. This is the origin of Freemasonry and Baphomet. They worshipped Satan, the Dark Templars sought to bring those from the Light into Darkness, and chain those in Darkness so that they would stay there forever. They brought the "Sacred Feminine" to the forefront as the Pagans once did. It is a corruption, it is of Satan and will go to the Darkness with him...

@RR PLAN C Jesus Christ is God. The Name Jesus Christ means Salvation The Messiah or God(The Anointed One) is Salvation. It is the same name from the Old Testament, Jehovah Yeshua, which means God my Salvation. God has seven sacred names in the Old Testament. Jesus Christ is Jehovah and Yahweh. The Name Yahweh and Jehovah mean the same, I AM. I AM is the title of God forever. Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I AM"(John 8:48-49). The Old Testament says "Yet I am the LORD your God ever since the land of Egypt; you know no God but Me, for there is no Savior besides Me." (Hosea 13:4) Jesus Christ is both LORD and SAVIOR. He is God. Jesus Christ is the God of the Old Testament, the God who parted the waters, the God who caused the water to fall on Pharaohs Army, the God who shows Mercy to His friends, and fights like a Lion against His enemies. God even Loves His enemies as well, hoping that they will return the Love. But ultimately, "The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is His Name." (Exodus 15:3) God is a Warrior, Jesus Christ is a WARRIOR, mighty in battle, and fights with a fierceness against His enemies. Blessed Mary was most definitely a Virgin when the Holy Spirit came upon her, and caused God to be born to her...

Henry the Navigator was born 90 years too late to have been a Templar, so half of what's said here is automatically bunk. Which is a pity, as it is an interesting and rather beautiful site, and has associated history and legend enough to not need further embellishment. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_Templar#Arrests,_charges_and_dissolution en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Henry_the_Navigator

in portugal the knights templar were not persecuted upon the dissolution of the order and 7 years later the portuguese king petitioned the pope for the creation of a religious military order called "Ordem dos Cavaleiros de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo". usually gets abreviated to ordem de cristo and it was basically the same stuff as the knights templar, it even had the same mission, henry the navigator was the grandmaster of that order, sure he wasn't a templar technically, but it's a question of semantics only. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Order_of_Christ
