I don’t even know why people pay for Netflix. I can search up millions of movies and watch them in higher resolution for absolutely free 24/7 365. Not to mention newer releases than Netflix has. I’ve watched HD movies while they’re still in theatres. Weeks if not months before Netflix gets their hands on them. I suggest you all kick that worthless company to the curb.

Only the fact that the director isn't even that 'famous' makes me feel very satisfied. Me myself am a cinematography student and have lots of feelings while watching this movie. Thank you Lennart Ruff and the entire crew for creating this concept. We need more movies who are made for obvious reasons, and not only financial.. Hopefully the 2'nd movie comes soon! What bugs me about this is why pick Titan? Mars is a lot closer and more "hospitable" to humans than Titan is. Plus, it'd be a lot easier and cheaper to just build domes on Mars. If it really must be Titan for whatever reason, I still think it'd be easier to build domes there than to do some crazy forced evolution of a select few humans.

if the whole point of the mission is to save mankind then what is the point of forcing a small select group of humans to evolve and be sent to some random moon? It's stupid. If any of the Earths government's were smart they would have instead researched ways to cut back on the Radiation that is causing problems and spent time and money to save Earth. Such as finding some way to get rid of or contain the Radiation. Or in order to save crops and food production build farming domes where food supplies can be kept safe from bad weather and said Radiation. Heck even today alot of farming is done in green houses and sometimes done without the sun and with lamps inside. And i would assume that due to the setup of the story that NATO won WW3 and that Russia and China are most likely occupied States like Japan and Germany after ww2 or that they are so weak they can't really launch any counter attacks. So what would be realistic is that these countries would cut back on military spending and start building shit to save mankind. Or hell a even more easy option if they truly most leave Earth or have a part of the population leave Earth! Just go to the moon! Not Titan! But the moon we landed on already, Just go back build domes and crap and start building cities and farms there. Sure you would have to be inside a air tight building for most of your time on the moon but at least your still Human!

Well apparently Titan has a ton of liquid hydrocarbons, so if the only resource you care about is oil(for some reason), then it'd be attractive. Otherwise, if Earth ran out of resources then it wouldn't matter where you colonized as you'd still have to collect resources from elsewhere in the solar system. In reality, the primary benefits to spreading humanity to another planetoid would be that one giant space rock wouldn't be able to wipe out humanity, or dealing with an uncontrolled population expansion(which is starting to look very unlikely). Otherwise there isn't much of an advantage to other planetoids, just disadvantages like extreme environments that are tough to cope with.

Love the oxymoron of "In order for humanity for survive, we must become something other than humans". Isn't humanity then dead either way? I always hated the notion that we must preserve our parasitic species. Yes, we should most definitely try to help, save and keep people alive. However, we should definitely not cause the creation of new humans after the last ones die. We aren't something that would be a shame if it goes extinct. Yes, it would suck for all the people alive to die, but if that already happened, there is no value in recreating us. If you can relocate the existing humans, you shouldn't curse another planet with new humans that wouldn't exist for no reason other than to prolong the existence of our species. Humanity valuing their species instead of the lives of their fellow men is just misplaced ego and nothing more.

Leaving my review here because a certain company is too timid to let people review their movies directly on their website. Setting that aside for a moment, I have to give credit where credit is due. This movie was a masterful example of how to throw logic out the window and just use "science" as an excuse. This movie has more inconsistencies in it than my Dad's alibi for the night my Mother and uncle Greg went missing. And just like the police, I have more than a few questions. Like why couldn't the doctor pronounce Methane? How come in a world on the brink of destruction, they had more than enough acres of spacious coastline, and woodland, to house a handful of naive volunteers with every commodity known to man? And not least of all, why would they send anyone to Titan?? Alone??? With no equipment, or without any means of contact?? How would they even know if he survived? What if there was an accident en route to Titan? What if he died on Titan anyway and it was all a huge waste of time? Would they ever find out, or would they just assume it was a success until the sequel when all of their research has finally paid off and they're about to successfully complete the first interplanetary human migration. Excited to step out into a new world, teeming with possibilities, only to find his lifeless corpse. I know deep in my heart though that I'll never know the answers, and I'll have to make my peace with that. Just like I made peace with my Dad.

What's funny is how these comments are. If people read more books. People would of then easily of realized that this is basically *Fred Pohl's Man Plus* . Like you could literally Wiki the synopsis of the book and see exactly how similar down to the last letter as to how the movie and book match. This is not Prometheus, Interstellar, Avatar, or any other random movie you throw out. This is based off of the 1976 Best Selling Novel *Man Plus* by Fred Pohl.

I remember when it was around the early 90's. I remember when they sky went completely red and every single cloud in the sky was gone. Then the Sun looked unbelievably like an orange type of red; which you could see more then the circle look to it but like a glow that made it feel like it was about to go Nuclear. I remember being scared as all hell. Being at night we were able to see a red Orange Sun and a blood colored moon at the same time and it never got dark for 3 to 4 days straight. Like it was literally bright for 3 to 4 days in that deep red sky. I remember people rushing and flooding grocery stores. Alerts were on every station because of talks of a nuclear attack to which thank god did not happen. Thus when I see scientists do crazy things like this. I do not even fault them. If we have to go then we have to go. Do whatever steps you think necessary to prepare us for it. Till this day I've never felt something that scared the life out of me as much as that moment did. I've watched a lot of Sci-Fi and horror movies. Yet nothing rattled me like that. You heard fires broke out, people were getting mugged, groceries stores were getting wiped clean, you had people in their church robes just walking down the street, etc. I was so convinced we were going to die that I tried to force myself to sleep so I wouldn't feel anything once it did. Being all I could think of was either being burnt by a solar flare or big explosion. If not the Earth cracking and just me falling into the cracks to which I eventually burn to death or get crushed by the jagged rocks of the split crust.
